If SS wasn't thinking about a placing, that would tell you a great deal, wouldn't it? that he was thinking of an alternative means of injecting cash into the company.

Something nobody ever talks about is their Basur-Resan licence area in South East Turkey (in a 50:50 partnership with AME).

Pinarova-1 failed to produce the goods earlier this year, but the licence area itself, imho, looks promising.

If and when their cash position becomes more comfortable, (and, as the share price rises, it IS becoming more comfortable), then I would personally like to see them resume exploration in the area. Thanks to the Turkish regulatory regime, any commercial find can be quickly monetised.

This is a board which has been dominated by derampers for a very long time.

It is, therefore, very refreshing to see new names on the board and to hear a range of bullish arguments for a change.

I cannot claim to have foreseen the big rise of these last few days or the enormous volume that has been traded.

I suspect there may be manoeuvres under way but that is a purely personal "feel" which I cannot substantiate.

I wish all investors in UKOG, old and new, all the best.

Late reports are continuing to come through but the above figure already constitutes 137.1% of total issued capital.

The recent placing raised £500k (of which Shore Capital appears to have subscribed about £150k) when UKOG's market cap was about £1m.

At 0.09p, the market cap is about £7.35m.

In the last 2 TR-1s, Shore Capital has reduced its holding from 13.14% to 9.13%.

Has any other player been picking up stock to a threshold requiring disclosure?

The purpose of the market is to help small companies raise capital and grow.

For the last several years, AIM has not really been performing this function, forcing upon companies such as UKOG enormous dilution (there would always have been dilution but not at these prohibitive rates had the market functioned better).

The shareholder base of the company has been transformed, out with the old, in with the new.

There is nothing secret about senior executives' remuneration, it is all detailed in the annual report.

They've reduced from 12.81% to 9.13%.

The threshold was crossed on 25/07 which was last Thursday, not the Friday of the very big volume.

UKOG ARE debt free but do have funding requirements.

Alba's advances were made to HHDL, the HH operator so their repayment depends upon HHDL's financial position.

HH-1's production remains modest. Nothing can be done about HH-3 until the consequences of the quashing of the project's permit by the Supreme court can be sorted out with Surrey CC.

Zak Mir's initial target of 0.047p has been attained - he only indicated that target on Friday.
