I guess the point I'm getting at, and have mentioned it several times on here, if you put in a sufficiently large stop loss, then it appears to my eyes, and I should stress it is my eyes only, that the MM's use that stop loss to cover purchases higher up, and then drop the SP to complete the transaction, pocketing the difference. I'd never, never, put a stop loss on a lightly traded share. But that's just my opinion.
If you think about it, this is perfectly reasonable behaviour from their point of view, and allows them to more easily satisfy stop losses on lightly traded shares, therefore satisfying their clients desires to sell. Of course it could have just been a straight sale at 25p, quite hard to tell really, as they look the same... @Dallas?
