Existing PI have been robbed by BOD. Abortive takeover of Bovis and now this declaration of a missing £100 million. Incompetence. RNS gives a dial in at 10:00 this morning for analyst and II but clearly does not care about PI.

The share price probably was held back by Hendos off loading from 26% to< 5% I hope the SP now starts to represent more like the company value.

GFRD has the trading arm 'Linden Homes' in the Hampshire area. It has sites I am aware of with part development complete in excellent locations: Bartons Rise, Havant and Morgan's Field, Broughton I have always liked the quality of their houses compared to competitors. Although the share price has softened a bit in last week GFRD has a 5.5% dividend yield. This is mostly due to being the party bidding on Bovis. In addition, the government has signalled encouragement to house builders. Thats why I am invested as a dividend and growth stock for the longer term.

Caniscorpus, I am pleased you acknowledged the answers I gave to your question on the takeover code. IMO: after a bid is made the shareholders would have a vote on whether to approve. The BOD can recommend. I suppose having a holding of 1% or more makes their vote significant and so its publicly available. I had a look at this form as well: its where a broker is trading in shares in any company involved in bid i.e. Galliford, Bovis or Redrow and has to declare the shares its bought or sold every day. So there a lot of these forms.

Every time a company's holding changes ,by buying or selling shares, during the offer period they issue a new form 8.3. Be a lot easier to see if the holding company put name in title as the minority have.
