Good to chat daveyboy71...
Its kinda a win-win situation for both companies: Sound disposes of large Italian gas assets and SRON has the experienced ex-ENI staff to make them pay. From a PI downside perspective is the many years this will take.
IMHO: most SRON LTH had invested in a gas production company with a clear de-risked self funding path over a medium term. Its not what we signed up to.
I thought a SRON share would become a CORO share ?
The assets are many times those of SRON. It will be interesting to see which assets are approached first.
Probably impossible to value as time to commercialise is unknown.
I will be a lot older and losing more hair before CORO materialises (like the Tardis) ...and years later really succeeds !!
Its more than frustrating not being able to deal; I feel like a criminal with my money frozen.
A few more points on today's RNS:Sant' Alberto production concession from Ministry
- Small modular plant needed, probably one Sound has been using.
- 3/400m only from well head to National Grid for Shell offtake.
Rollthediceagain,
Yes, true to form SRON make a statement that poses more questions than answers...
with 'no answer' Corporate Relations department aka Steffy.
The quarterly production update is overdue.
RNS Sant Alberto production concession achieved.
Processing facility and connection to National grid allowing production to start H1 2018.
My quick calculation: on peak flow: 29,500scm @ 0.14 euro x 300 days approx. 1.24 million euros per year
0.17 euro (avg lpg price) is Shell lpg price x.2 euro @ 80% well head price.
Guess facility cost 3 million euros to develop.
Video points for me:-
1. Leonardo Salvatore will be MD, Italy.
2. Aim to expand outside Italy at some stage.
3. JP quote "Same private investor centricity that marks Sound Energy";
some promise considering how PI have so poorly PI treated at Saffron Energy;
4. Sara Edmondson plays down the challenge to develop the Sound's gas fields; what sort of success has she had before ? Po Valley share price ASX:PVE are today 0.39 AUD; funny enough up 5.41% today
legache,
Nice to see a positive view , and I agree.
Although its been painted as a fait complete, I read it was NON-BINDING
"Non-binding conditional heads of terms have been agreed to this effect by all the sides."

It seems to be mutually beneficial. We have very experienced ex-ENI staff who know the Po Valley inside out and probably these other gas fields. The huge step up in reserves has been well explained by KV3MC. But there is huge costs and timescales involved in exploiting.
SPREADEX hardly a LTH
But they now have to wait ages like the rest of us.
I see there is relative small CFD 0.5 mill, in addition to the 5 mill shares, that will need to be paid for for the suspension period.
