legache, Can only find out MM's intention if I could speak to him. When Steffy would not give me his contact details, I requested that she at least assure me she would forward on my email. I repeated this request and received no reply.

legache, I have emailed Steffy a few times and, unsurprising to me, received a not helpful reply. I asked to discuss with Mike Masterman but I am deemed unworthy of being allowed contact. I have discussed with another PI who has a large holding and he was not concerned as the Po Valley shareholders being the BOD would not flood the market. I expect he will reply on here at some point. I personally think its worth requesting an EGM. I believe a meeting can be called with 10%.

sprintman, Its not better than nowt - its a sop. Its like saying here are the three gas well names and I might find some information to update you. She cant even be bothered to give the names properly: its Bezzecca 1 as there is a plan for Bezzecca 2 Whats "soon" ?

Good question. Lets hope Mike Masterman is a Tom Cross. Tom does not like issuing public information unless significant.

They should be giving us updates and a concrete strategy and time tabled plan. Each time I heard from Mike Masterman and Sara Edmondson there was a different tentative plan. Stephy has been promoting Echo at a PI presentation in Manchester. MM seems more interested in WRES. Fundamentally SRON is a cash cow with a simple O&G business model but the information flow is terrible.

I don't think we will here much progress for a while. 15th August is an Italian public holiday. With the mega heat and humidity most will (sensibly) be taking a vacation.

My opinion only:- Has not succeeded otherwise it would have been announced with fanfare. Cowardly not to put out an RNS explaining situation.

Welcome Strider4 and chasf. There is a large spread but the SP can move either direction with small volume because only 53 million shares in free float. Compare this number to other companies with an American billion.

4Rok, I fully understand why you sold part. Commiseration for you making at a large loss but there is always good opportunities elsewhere to recoup. I, like you, did not realise the poor communication I was signing up for. Steffy is on this BB and should understand she is causing us to lose money;more than annoying !!

Promised in RNS for early July. I have emailed Steffy and Giorgio quite a few times over the last few weeks. I either get no reply or an 'update to market in due course' - meaning nothing. My patience is wearing thin.

The current Ask SP is below the 5p IPO listing price when SRON was placed on the LSE February this year. The demand was among the most in LSE's history. The promised gas wells have gone into production. I just wish the recent RNS did not promise delivery too early.

Thanks TopGun333 and dactions for explaining the FT article about Europe's dependency on Russia for its gas supplies. It encourages me to carry on finding out as much about SRON as I can for all our benefits when others contribute. There are big pluses for SRON regarding its gas: 1. The gas 99% pure and needs no filtering 2. The demand is massive. 3. Top credit worthy customer in Shell. 4. We know the gas price at 80% market price 5. Local expert knowledge will tap known supplies over time and overcome red tape. With this very quiet period and worryingly low volume, its worth reminding ourselves of how low risk SRON is compared to other O&G companies.

Mikeinmanc, Hardly an enlightening email. My experience has been similar:- I also pressed Steffy for a reply and received a not very helpful reply. But I asked repeatedly an assurance my email would be forwarded to Michael and Sara. None has been forthcoming.

I believe we will here very soon on the gas comingling. I just wish a date announced and stick to it...this was RNS announced for early July.
