£6k of dividends not £6... oops

I'd happily pay £5 per share and higher at an oil price of 67 dollars. At this price BP is making multiple billions! I've bought another tranche and going to buy more when my £6 of dividends are paid. Toooo too cheap!

Oil prices must be higher than when this share price was £5.60+. strange its not even moved at nearly $70 a barrel...

I have shares in HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds, Birg, and AIBG. I have to say the recent moves to purchase Goodbodys and Ulster Bank commercial loans makes this my top bank stock pick - they have nos solidified a virtual monopoly in the Irish banking sector.... Strong buy for me. My top bank stock pick!

Dow goes down - FTSE goes down.... you can't win with FTSE. Aviva's performance was astounding considering the environment we are in. Great to see its profit are 10 times higher than Ocado - yet Ocado is worth more.... and with Ocado NAV is c £1 and its valued at £21.... valued at a premium of 900% +, whilst Aviva is undervalued by 10-15%. The stock market is completely bonkers!!!

Loving Aviva! Great dividends keep coming and they are shaking it up a little!

CSDI... well I have £70k. Half were bought at £2.79... I'm looking return of 50% at least and will hold on as long as it takes.

Apparently according to the Chinese we have a massive asset bubble globally. It's so concerning, last time I looked at the FTSE was where it was 21 years ago! All that 0% growth in 21 years is concerning me. For me the FTSE is deeply undervalued and has been for almost two decades.... My concern is the undervaluation of assets.

This share is a traders paradise - I own a £35k holding - worth £15k. Despite all of the hype of the results - this has been my second worst performing share I have ever held. The only other one that I made as much losses on was Fastjet and that was an unmitigated disaster. I think the revenue decline was all in all a disaster and there isn't much sign that its fundamentally going to change - a decline of 11% and 9% is not much different at all. I'll keep an eye on this one - but there isn't any other share in my portfolio that is performing as bad as this. It probably would be best if they sold up and we got £6 or something of that order. I'd quite happily take £6 and write off over half my losses.

Lovely rise for HSBC. I dont get it that standard chartered are so much higher. Great to have £40k in HSBC - definitely a better bank!

Djones... you have to remember there is no sense to the market. The only reason why share price falls when record profits announced is that very reason - limited growth opportunities. For me the banks are where money is to be made... we're at the bottom of the cycle - bank reserves are at their highest and the economy is ready to take off. Intrrest rate expectations going up. For me - I have £200k in bank shares and thats where I see capital and dividend growth.

I have £15k in Vod. Personally I think Vod is a great company and the Vantage towers idea is superb.... People just need to be patient. Vod is a better dividend payer than most other companies at the moment. Some people never happy with 6% dividend..

Excellebt results all things considered. NAV increasing to 52 pence. undervalued by at least 30% based on that plus fair value. Strange its not 43 pence at least

Can anyone tell me why the FTSE 100 is less than at the end of last year when everything looked terrible - impending no deal Brexit... no clarity of vaccines.... full lockdown... Donal Trump still in power.... I don't get the FTSE 100 at all.... it doesn't seem to make any sense that the FTSE would be down so far this year... How do any of you figure out anything?????

I personally thought the results were better than I had expected. I thought the share price would go to £4.50+. I can't understand why its gone down 13 pence - more than what they are planning to pay out. For me this is a strong buy!

New economic law - oil price goes up - BP profits go up - share price goes down - value of company goes down.... is there something surreal I am missing. The market seems rigged by questionable data provided by IG and others pointing to a drop before market open... how are pre-market data generated????

Barclays announces in the worst recession that it has made £3 billion; is buying back £700 million shares and paying a dividend and its market capitalisation goes down £1 billion. To me, I think the investing community has something of the sort of BSE. Completely bewildered that the share price even went negative today... For me, its a definite hold and buy more share. Barclays seems to win both directions.

Uncle Doug - any dividend is better than none. In my opinion the financial results fof Barclays were superb - £3,000,000,000... after provisions.... 1p dividend and share buyback of £700,000,000... I really don't understand why its not up 20 pence today... no justification for a drop of 8 pence.... same old story of investors looking for Tesla returns..... I am at the upper end of happiness with the results.... investors are fickle!!!
