Succesfx - not going to be buying back in even if it reaches 30 pence. This is a share to avoid.

My entiree holding was not just RR shares. When you own a stock - you play the game. Now that I am out - Lloy is just one of those shares whose top price has been rebased from £1 to 50 pence. 50 pence would be a good price 30 pence is realistic.

Recession coming imo. real chance this could head south of 30 pence. I foresee a lot of businesses not able to service unsustainable debt. House prices definitely overheated.

Malpasso - The economy is doing well but aviation is going to struggle big time. Easyjet is heading towards recapitalisation big time. RR will need more capital too. Nothing will be normal in reality til 2024 at least.

I'll be surprised if it holds 40 pence by Christmas.

What surprises me is how unbalanced and blinkered investors are - I count myself in that group until recently. Only looking at the positive factors and not questioning in any great way why its continually going down.blinkered investors stand to make the greatest losses. I'll never be an investor in a UK listed company - Brexit - like it or not will come back to bite.

southcoast -yes - there is a 1 million labour shortage for part time mainly seasonal workers in restaurants and pubs. They'll disaapear quickly coming ibto the autumn.

Realised however since Brexit UK is increasingly seen as an independent nation whose prospects are altogether poorer. australian stock market 400 points above FTSE - before covid it was much further behind. FTSE 100 companies have poor future prospects - most of them. still where we were compared to 2000 broadly. Sad.

You say its a bellweather... its not a bellweather for anything these days. In fact, when i saw the price action after those stellar results, I thought whats the point owning any of them - they respond to nothing.

Falkland - inflation falling back is not good for banks. Also we're coming into winter and furlough is gone - travel stocks will not fare well. redundancies on the cards. gut feeling is people will tighten spending. also businesses are absolutely loaded up with debt - can see many not able to pay. Be surprised if loads not 30 p by december
