Rights issue coming here. Cash burn is far more of an issue for IAG than Easyjet.... furlough ending and most supports going. Interesting times.... to think I had 220k invested in RR and Easyjet three weeks ago... I would have been down £30k easily.

buying sub 1.10 is a no brainer or someone has no brain.... aviation going to be really tested this winter...

isnt it up to shareholders to decide that... democracy gone. I am so thankful to smithy - reason why i questioned easyjet so much - particularly need to raise capital. sold all £550k of my shares and so far its saved me 50k in profits. listen to others!

Sly company - no info re share issue to shareholders till after the event. no info on takeover approach. no info on debt. totally uninvestible company - sly!!!! will never invest in easyjet again.

Bracemode - the trend is a sustained downwards one. Only one way at the moment. losses are piling up for airlines.

Not looking good for HSBC. Thank God I sold every share in HSBC at £4.10. Can see it going sub £3.50.

I'm surprised its held up above £1.20 given the enormous losses it is making. Little prospect of any real recovery until 2025. Not sure the market will ever return to normal. Furlough ending will be an enormous loss! Strong sell IMO.

opulentia - you keep buying these shares either because you want to average down your losses or because you think its a good bet longterm. I think this company has little long term prospects. It's badly run; loss making and in a sales decline cycle. Genuinely with a debt of $4,000,000,000, its worth little over a £1 a share.

Mystic - Go and look through yourself to see how many broker targets have ever been reached... instead of being aggressive when your shares are going down

Stock broker upgrades mwan diddly squat... Aviva has had buy ratings on it for a decade and the consensus share price has never been reached. They dont figure in peoples buying behaviour.

Falkland seeme to be engaged in highly speculative CFDs and seems to think Lloy, RR and other listed companjes are good bets. September unfortunately sees the end of Furlough and with a lot of these companies loaded up with debt, it would not surprise me that they will need to tap mr shareholder to dig themselves out of a cash black hole IMHO DYOR as Falkland says all the time. As for banks, I've moved all of my cash from Lloys and nationwide to Starling and Monzo - far better tech and much easier to use. Lloys is yesterdays bank I am afraid. My partner moved all his businesses cash from HSBC to Starling... night and day in terms of customer experience...

I bought £65k in these. I sold the lot for two reasons - politically its too risky to invest in a bank that plays china's toons.... secondly, I had a business account with them and their customer service is non existent. Switched to Staring and they get 10/10. Thirdly, can't see where sales growth is going to come from

Outlook for airlines is bleak - govs not willing to free the market and furlough ends - massive changes for BAs costs. Definitely not a company to invest in at the moment.
