I saw their focus on company results this morning - accentuating the positives for Melrose that rose 4% despite heavy losses and accentuating the negatives for Aviva despite massive profits.

good price.

Another grim reduction in price for RMG. Redceo- I'm sure you seen Aviva announced their stonking set of results with a 9% dividend rise and it goes down. I'm moving more into Aviva - the drop made no sense.

Warthig - its in the business live section. I'm adding. No rational basis for reduction in share price.

I noticed that - focused razor like on the worst thing they could find - which is a general thing affecting every business. No mention of the 99% positive! Biased to the extreme.

Solid, dependable, reliable company - dividend increased 9% to 30p or 7% yield. They are reducing debt by £1.5 billion to save £90 million. Whats not to like. I'm raising my holding.

BTW - P/E is c. 5 for RMG - well below any averages anywhere. It is fundamentally undervalued but I reckon it could hit 3 going on the market savaging its had.

Fruitster - RMG reached a record high after Brexit vote and has collapsed because of missed profit targets and productivity in reverse gear alongside over generous pay rises. Its abundantly clear that RMG need to change drastically for this to improve. All we need is for wages to rise more, letter volumes to fall more and productivity to deterioriate and RMG is well into the red and bankruptcy. The only thing that is in its favour is the low debt. Rico is a liability - he's not capable of being ruthless.

Letters increasing - absolutely zero chance!!!

Brexit is having zero impact on this share - FTSE staged a bug recovery from November in a time when RMG flatlined. Also, the chances of productivity improvement I would put at 10% if that. As for the dividend - this will be cut and if not I would worry more. I deeply regret buying RMG and see little chances of recovery in the next 3-5 years. Investor funds wont touch this with a barge pole

drift imo. Going with my gut - £2.50 or below my cut off.

If I sell RMG - I will be putting everything into Aviva. Solid company

£2.50 and I'm offloading £80k shares. Not waiting around to see whether it improves or not.

Redceo - he has a track record of growing the business in line with the market. Its easy to succeed in a growing market.

Brexit has little to do with the share price action - I would put its contribution at less than 5%. Final year dividend will be held I believe, but they will be forced to reduce it for the next time around - Rico is living in a fools paradise to think otherwise. As for Rico's strategy - I expect that will deliver nothing new. He's shown he is incapable of driving through efficiencies, and is incapable of thinking of what to do next to move this in the right direction. Good luck if you are waiting for his strategy - its going to be a non-starter!

The biggest share buyback has commenced and the share price trends down... what a joke.

I'm confused - yes, there is a volatility, but the trend is firmly downward. None of you on here can identify any upward catalysts, which affirms my belief that this is going to continue to firmly go in one direction. For all of your forecasts, not one of you is capable of spelling out what would move this higher - its all fluffy/rose tinted glasses.

Fruitster - if it was just the dividend I was waiting on here - I would be a long time gone. This has fallen from £6.21 to £2.69 in little over 6 months. That's a drop of going on £3.60 (which is 15 times the dividend). investing purely for dividend as has been shown is foolish and I've been foolish on that count. Picking up shares at £2.70 - well, there is a chance to make some money. I'm in at £3.40 - and there is little chance of seeing this return any time soon.

I've had enough of RMG and I'm struggling to think what would genuinely drive this forward. Can anyone think genuinely what financial metrics would drive this forward. I'm a pretty clued in person and I think I've called this investment wrong - its the only stock pick I have made where I have worried about it from the beginning- the rest I have just let them run without worrying even when they went down in price. The end of year results won't look markedly different than those that came before it and we've seen how the market has responded on those counts. Sales are pretty much capped at 2-3%, profit more likely to undershoot than overshoot as we've seen the profit expectation band narrow. Letter volume decline likely to accelerate. Parcel revenue likely to increase. Rico Back is clearly the wrong person to lead Royal Mail as he lacks ambition, drive and imagination - just look at photos of him sitting on his chair earning £millions. The RNSs released by Royal Mail are juvenile to say the least. Not long before I make my last decision on this one - if I have got anything wrong in the above, please do let me know. Equally, if you can pre-empt any catalysts - let me know.

I ain't predicting this one as that would depress me. But some of those figures look way on the too high side given the current price action. Don't see this moving up much in the next few months as there is nothing to drive it higher. What's going to happen is that when the next results are released for the full year, this will characteristically fall 10% plus and then rise a little. We've been punished for the same thing several times - it makes no sense at all. I don't see any catalyst for upward movement at all.
