Derek - Jeremy Corbyn's policy on Brexit is confused, inconsistent and not supported in the country. I look forward to them being wiped out in their northern Heartland - which looks pretty certain if they keep plugging their close relationship with the EU. UKIP look attractive and I'm Irish!

A) Corbyn has no chance of winning as PM as there are not enough communists in the UK to vote him in. In any case he's shown he can't make decisions and no one understands his postion on the EU.
B) the Government cannot renationalise an industry by steeling shares - no more than the private sector can steel a nationalised industry. There is a process and they have to pay fair value which is currently £4.30 per share.
C) The probability of both of these are c. 0%.

REDCEO - Aviva might drop 20p - but these are not normal times and the share has not performed according to norms - i.e. it has already dropped over 20p despite the upcoming dividend. So - actually - I don't know how it will go, but if it doesn't rise 20p in the next few days, I am not expecting it to fall by that amount. Who knows. It should be £6 +.

It will be lucky to stay above previous close at the current slide. Disappointing! I reckon a £2.39 close - if that.

It is - but then again Aviva isn't trading near historic lows and has made an excellent recovery since before Christmas. I'm very happy with Aviva - small but steady rises - but perplexed that it hasn't accelerated to £6 or more.

This is not going up because Centrica needs a radical overhaul. They are wasting money hand over fist - the discrepancy between sales and profit is vast. As someone not invested and looking for good opportunities, this simply isn't one of them, even at 50 pence a share. The dividend is definitely not sustainable, but more importantly the company's management structure needs overhauling. Hasn't been lower since 1999.

SP action looking looking distinctly dodgy - I do hope the earlier highs are repeated, but the trend is creeping downwards!

Redceo - I don't think you read that as it was intended. I'm heavily invested here and welcome any rise.... but context all important. I reckon any rises from here will be driven by possibility of elections.

Yes - its welcome - bit lets not loss the run of ourselves - its still only 10p above historic lows - and we've had many days in the last month where it hit historic lows.

Falkland - you are just gutted that people have held their shares despite the raft of negative articles and that, most likely, your delusional buy at sub £2.00 may never come. I won't be parting with my shares anywhere below this... or even well above this.

Falkland - that cannot be true - all of them - seriously. Check my post the other day where I stated I bought more shares. That post was shared before my trade appeared in public. My views vacillate on this one. Ultimately - I need to weigh up the potential vs. the downside risk. I have put £85k in this now - I do believe on balance this has better upside than downside potential. Good luck with single handedly bringing this to £2. That would mean that sentiment thinks this is heading to bankruptcy. I do not think that for one second.

Good for you! My apologies in relation to my inconsistency with this share - its been up and down and is a head melt but the bottom line is the sales and NAV and both are looking good, not to mention the profit! Good luck - this should be well above £4 - well above. The fundamentals are sound.

And you are a postie? Of course there will be letters - I will always use the post for certain things as will other people. Post is also a more effective way than emails to reach people (and avoid the junk mail/interception problem) .

They are no bargain. I'm afraid they definitely are overvalued - they may pay the next dividend, but expect a hefty cut beyond that. Sub £1.00 in a month.
