I'm sure some of the LTHs bought a few more shares yesterday at sub 10p prices. Not all of today's sells will be their whole pot, perhaps just the "top-up" they bought yesterday. That's my strategy, although I've set my limit sell on yesterday's top-up at nearer 15p. If executed over the next few days it is a quick profit - if not just continue to hold for the liquidity event.
Judge-mental, there is also interesting history around De Beers too. Way back before 1994 South Africa was subject to sanctions due to the Government practicising Apartheid. So way back De Beers had to find ways around these sactions to move their mechandise. Maybe set-up another company called Anglo American would help? ;-)

Let's hope that sub 1p prices are a now behind us and UFO is finally ready to take off now!
Straight from Google "A Price Monitoring Extension is activated when the auction matching process would
result in an auction price that is a pre-determined percentage above or below the
base price."
I'm not an expert, but auctions are held at the start of the day, about half through and at end of trading, to determine opening and closing prices. Price monitoring extensions seem to happen when the share price is moving quickly, whether up or down. They extend the time of the auction (once or twice) to see if they can get a finishing price within the pre-determined percentage.
I'm still trying to work out what Khaled78 wnats to achieve here. Initially mentions price dropping back to 7p after a reasonable rise towards the end of last week. Now saying they are making money by TRADING HE1 and encouraging others to do the same! What could go wrong he implies - sell your shares when the big buys come in and then buy back later that day when they fall back down again on no news. Oh, surprise an RNS has just dropped!
Well EUA have been negotiating with a party with the intention to complete a sale of "substantially all the assets" of EUA. The third party has completed their due diligence and we must assume we are still in negotiations with said party.
No sale is guaranteed, but if this sale progresses then whatever purchase price is agreed will be income. In this case IMO there will be a VERY special dividend! :-)
If all goes well and we sell >80% of the current EUA assets and EUA will pay a dividend of >80% of income, this will still leave funding in place for EUA V2.0 to focus on development of mining of battery metals.
@chriszzr I'm not sure what metals are used to produce hydrogen, but platinum is used in hydrogen fuel cells. https://www.africanmining.co.za/2021/02/22/platinum-the-winner-in-hydrogen-fuel-cells/
The HQ of the Mineral Council of South Africa uses a fuel cell (using natural gas but this uses the same principle as hydrogen fuel cells). Their HQ "only" uses 40 ounces of platinum in the fuel cell that powers their building!
https://www.mineralscouncil.org.za/special-features/42-fuel-cell-feature
The above link is written from a South African perspective, showing that have been mining the vast majority of the world's platinum. We just need EUA to give them some competition now! South Korea are the leaders in fuel cell technology, although Japan is positioning itself to rapidly catch up.
The RNS mentions "Several off-take agreements being discussed including own use of hydrogen for the Company's mining equipment for the Kola operations". Mining tends to be an energy intensive activity, so having a nearby energy source will reduce infrastructure set-up and ongoing running costs in the rural Kola area.
The SA president gave an update speech last night. Apparently they had planned to have 70% of the population vaccinated by the end of the year. Currently circa 40% of the SA population have been vaccinated and there is an ample supply of vaccines (Pfizer for most of the population with J&J used for teachers and rural areas).
The problem now is the majority of the people who want the vaccine have already had it and the others don't want it. We had to pay for the vaccine and it was roughly R800 per shot (£40). This was paid by the medical aid assuming people had a medical aid policy. The president has now said the vaccine is now available for free to increase uptake within the poorer populations.
Before the new virus SA was diagnosing around 500 new cases per week, which has increased to 1500 in the past 7 days. The proportion of positive cases out of tests has gone up from 2% to 9%, so it looks like the infection rate is going to ramp up around the end of the year.
7.7p being paid, although most are insignificant trades so far. A buy of 30K shares at just over 7.5p also gone through. There is still a significant spread of over 6%, but it would be good if we do finish today above 7.5p.
Currently EUA are working towards "a proposal from a credible party for the potential acquisition of substantially all of Company's assets." This should provide a decent dividend to shareholders and provide funding for EUA V2.0 to develop/mine any remaining assets. It looks like EUA will still trade after the asset sale, as they took on a new director in Japan and are now planning on doing a dual listing.
Smiller, I imagine Geng means to buy in at around 0.8p and sell for between 1.15p and 1.2p to make a 40+% gain. Would be a nice trade if they did this within a couple of weeks.
The price is now around 0.8p again, so there are 2 questions for the expert chartists:
1) Is the current price a buy signal?
2) Can the charts give timescales when the price is likely to break 1.15p again?
P.S. Genuinely curious - I know nothing about charts myself
EUA not following the usual pattern where share price driven down in morning and tends to recover slightly in the afternoon. Looks like the herd have spotted in on the risers list yesterday and jumping in...
How many new rampers will appear today? :-)
My average is 1.12p so it would be nice to finish out of the red today after several months with the price languishing below 1p.
I've only got beer money invested and would have bought more if I had the money but it looks like things are finally starting to come together with UFO. My other miner is EUA where my initial investment was beer money at 2.45p and it's now the largest share in my portfolio! Hopefully UFO will do the same, although we will need to sit on the shares for the next few years ...
