There is an IPO coming up with AlphaWave, I wonder if VELA will be in on this. . . Looks like a high profit investment as they appear, on first glance, to be creating new communications technologies (High Data Transmission at Low Power) and sell the IP by way of licence. An Interesting opportunity. . . ??

I love looking at this board from time to time. . . It really puts things into perspective when you see and hear AZ talking about market overreactions and he seems unfussed by the share price movement. This is a man that has millions invested. Then compare to the average investor on here that is whining like a little ***** when they are £100 - £2000 down. Patience and emotionless qualities are required with investing in start up businesses.

Hi Lex, I think you might be getting confused about the 2019 Virtual AGM. Easy mistake to make. . . I almost missed the 2020 AGM. I mean two Annual General Meetings within a 2-3 month period, is a little out of the ordinary . .lol

I have just over 5m shares and to me that is a fair chunk. . . This AGM is probably the most important event in the short term. Not getting too excited, but the pieces appear to be falling into place. . . (Hopefully not like the share price before any of the BB Bell-ENDS get in)

Who on here is planning a trip down to "the Smoke" to the AGM at the end of June? It would be very nice to meet the team. . .

I have no idea what the share price will be. I know that one day in the not too distant future that this share is highly probable to do extremely well. Roll with it and don't let it take over your life. . . That has more value that some electronic numbers on a screen.

MIGHT BE WORTH REGISTERING INTEREST JUST TO GET A FLAVOUR OF WHAT IS HAPPENING. . .

Afternoon All . . I can see that the SGS trial is at the forefront of everyones thought process, regarding VELA. I can tell you from personal experience, as I am involved as a test subject in another Covid related trial, that it does move very quickly. The trial that I am involved me registering at the beginning of February, and having the first vaccination in less than one week. I have recently had the second vaccination and next week having a final blood test where I have been told I will be unblinded and told if I have had the vaccine or a placebo. The Professer leading the trial has told me that the vaccine in question has received MHRA approval already. So. . . In short, with Covid-19 being extremely topical right now, I would suspect that speed and efficiency will be paramount and that it is highly improbable that there will be any undue delays.

The biggest threat to SYME is banking institutions. They have access to funding, massive client base, human resources and the means in which to deliver and deploy a competitive solution very quickly. AZ needs to move quickly in order to capitalise on SYME's current position. Proof of funding and actually delivering for the client companies and shareholders is at a very critical stage. . . That is why we have the 30% drop, in my opinion. SYME will come good, but it was always going to be a rollercoaster ride. . .
