All - just catching on postings and agree results were great. Were people not surprised that Stroll was not part of presentation or the Q&A? Not sure whether it was because Stroll was not there or they are getting more confident about the turnaround but Tobias and Gregor seemed more open at answering questions asked than in the July and October q and as. There also seemed more analysts present, all of which asked detailed questions, which I took as a positive.

Market had two bad days at end of week. So be interested what share does when ftse flat or goes up.

Doyezee - regarding your post of 25 Feb 2021 at 17:28, whilst the prices predicted may have been incorrect, I find gt4racer’s view of trends quite informative. We have lost a number of posters I valued such as Dimi, Nevas, Synxs, Amann etc and I hope we have not lost gt4racer.

Irrespective of the welcome upward trajectory, this is not a tradeable share due to the spread. Never seen a share with a spread consistently 12-20%. Sit and hold. Hypothetical and may never know but would Be interested to know if the recent rise due to seller stopping or people becoming more aware of dmtr.

I suspect Luftkin and the SFO will hang over PFC for several months yet. Can only think something major has come up for it to go from Luftkin pleaded guilty and was to be sentenced on 11 February 2021 to a directions hearing in the same court on 21 June 2021. Lack of publically available info not helpful. But does this mean Luftkin may be acquitted amd definitely no SFO fine.

Nite - This has happened a couple of times before. Think of II and the Kuwaitis previous selling that led to Mahmoud Samy Mohamed Aly El Sayed no longer being a director. Several posters here could not understand why they sold out as Stroll turning the company around.

Doyezee - time will tell. In unlikely even it goes to £16 we can all bring our vacuum cleaners out to hoover up those share. Big next six weeks ahead for the share price.

Just catching up on things from yesterday. Most things covered already so not revisiting them and agree with Rob’s conclusion.

One point to clarify is the opinion “AML has an mcap of $1.9/2bn. Why the fcuk would they pay double- bull ****.” Someone may have to due to Stroll’s mastery and hostile bid defence strategy. Any takeover needs 75% or 90% of the votes cast depending on the form of procedure bidco uses. Stroll and his Yew Tree members do not want to sell. Presumably Mercedes, Permian do not want to sell. So someone likely to have to pay over mcap for us. Also cannot remember the technical term but Dunnieboy and the Motley Fool both previously highlighted value of AML’s IPR and goodwill meaning that the mcap is less than the true value of the company.

Explaining this for completeness and the newer members who may have missed previous discussions on this.

Ultimately, in my opinion, this is win win for us. £30 a share this financial year would be a fantastic return since last summer or we get to continue to enjoy seeing the company grow and share price increase. One thing is for certain is the fears of Stroll fleecing us PIs (which several posters commented on last year) will not materialise.

Noobz - unless you have big tax reasons to do so and assume you are aware first £12,300 in actual (not paper) profit is currently tax free be careful with transitioning to an ISA. Share fast moving. And you are out for a short period of time. HL website made clear to me could end up with a lower number of shares. Being transparent in case you are not aware as have had similar thoughts.

All - yesterday’s trading issues could have been linked to the US shares burning shorters. If Rox was still on here he would have very strong views. My understanding is that Shorters can trash a share price with no consequences for them but it appears unacceptable for PIs to use Reddit to burn the shorters!!!!

GT4racer - I tend to agree with Rob. It is not a well written article. Also would have expected it to be picked up elsewhere if anything in it. DB also made valid point about MMs raising price if bid likely. Stroll and Chinese powerful and Stroll has largely eliminated leaks from AML. But cannot see only one website and odd bulletin board picking up on such a deal. If offered £30 over next few months would be a hell of a return within a year but cannot see it. Other thing would highlight is shows benefit of consolidation, Stroll hand picking Permian, the bid defence strategy etc as any would be buyer has to pay very good money. Has anyone emailed IR? Charlotte normally very good at responding. Had been meaning to ask her to confirm both factories had remained open since Christmas. But do not want to ask if someone already has.

Catching up on today’s posts:

1. Dunnieboy - agree with you. Consolidation was meant to bring stability. So trading in the 89-92p old money range is positive. In addition it is a lot higher than where we were for most of the last three quarters of 2020. Also need to consider general market this week and fact we used to comment on the 50p on the nose finishes not that many months ago;

2. Pau1Oz- it is DarrenBuffer some people on here need to thank for PFC. Another of Darren’s good tips following cey, agl, dmtr etc. I was in before Darren’s tip but bought initial tranche too soon 8 days ago at 124p. Topped up this morning.

pedrolancaster, regarding your post of 13:43 I think it was the dukeofyork. I am not sure if Turner Pope and others shares have hit the market yet. So would give it a week if there are big sales, like we had from 3p to 1.81p. As others have discussed, partly depends if the placing is perceived to add value, as well as if new 5.5p shares sold shortly after issuing.

Phe were vague about dates. Think it was on or around 21st the relevant RNS referred to. Warrants issued separately but not yet tradeable. Be interesting if they do have a retrace as a result when the broker Turner Pope sells their shares. Bit like us back to 1.81p.

Agree with haggismchaggis1‘s post of 17:26. This dip and consolidation may be good for the long term. The example I give of what happens when a seller stops selling is Angle. I held it at 44p a few months ago for around a month. Share was not going anywhere. Sold and it is now in the 60s, having dipped into the 30s. Patience if you believe in the company. Things can quickly change when a seller stops selling and a company produces a positives rns.

Agree with Robglfc, Midtable1 and tinypie. Was busy with work this afternoon so did not have time to check shares. Could not believe the closing price. Trend broadly similar to two of my other shares - Rolls Royce and Solgold. And on a day when the ftse100 had a different graph. Let us see what tomorrow brings.

Thank you Pokerchips. Lots of people talking about a quick 20-50% return. But if dividends return to past levels it is a great return for people like me who bought in at 124p.

I am a newbie here who bought first thing yesterday as it appeared oversold. Can someone please confirm if the company has said there will definitely be no dividend at all in 2021. With increase in oil price since last results, was wondering if there may be a dividend. Good to see trusted posters from other BBs on here or social media such as Riddler, Paddyboy1.
