Joe, all due respect, but you have filled the board with over 20 posts demanding to see something that doesn't exist. Perhaps some research beyond asking a BB might be useful.

Joe - yes, I also understand there is a way to aggregate different shareholding figure - how people like Morningstar produce their reports. However, there is no breakdown of types of holders below those officially reported. A way to estimate what you want (but not probably accurate ) would be to assume that all nominee account holdings are PIs. Morningstar lists top Institutional & Fund holdings. Between the 2 figures will be a mixture of smaller II holdings and PIs who don't use nominees accounts, but impossible to tell who is who.

Joe, you are very wrong. Share Registrars Ltd only hold information about shares held by them on behalf of holders who want to utilise use of the CREST system.

Share Registrars Ltd are a CREST enabled registrar. That means you can open an account with them to hold your shares through CREST. You can look up a definition of CREST for yourself.

This is getting silly.

As I understand it, there is no 'official register document' for shareholders. The company does not keep a register of all shareholders - How could they? There are hundreds or thousands of transactions in GGP shares every day. For almost all PIs these transactions will be through nominee companies such as II and H&L. There is no 'registrar' for shareholdings. The company, and AIM authorities, are only notified of shareholdings over a certain threshold under the AIM Rules. Nominee companies are exempt from reporting.

Spoton - Middlekoop as you say specialises in buyouts, so it's not surprising he promotes it in every mention of GGP as it's what he wants. He is not a long-term investor and has no interest in seeing GGP becoming a producer - he's after short to medium term profits. And it's not true that good discoveries by juniors will always get bought out - Zoros has identified at least 2 who have gone on to production. Many juniors are only interested in exploration, then monetising. GGP have declared ambition to become a producer.

The cut-off date is as it is because it was used for the PFS, the most recent official resource estimates. The Newcrest report was historic, for half-year ending 31 Dec. Why would you expect to see new figures in it, and before the MRE2 is released?

Yes, but the same principle applies. Note that the NCM report said moving some resources to indicated resulted in a reduction
of 0.67 million ounces of gold and 0.04 million tonnes of copper (based on their having 40%)

Walkabout - your figures make sense, but they are perhaps an optimistic view. This is because there need not be a direct correlation between inferred and indicated, because the criteria for indicated are significantly stricter in many aspects. Just as an example, what has been accepted as 10mt inferred might only qualify for say 7mt indicated. JORC Code gives more details.

antigua - you will agree with any sentiment that even remotely seems to criticise GGP.

Doublehun - only one relevant fact: NCM 70% GGP 30%. Who has control over news related to the JV?

Panama - his name says it all. He doesn't have enough knowledge to present facts against GGP so he can only attack individuals who have the cheek to disagree with his pathetic agenda.

Lenz - wrong. Any new or amended MRE has to be externally audited - as stated in NCM release under Assurance and Verification.

No significant upgrade to the reserves should be expected until the MRE2 is released.

Is it me or do all these knee-jerk negative comments seem co-ordinated. Easy to tell who is really interested in GGP's prospects.

Saxondale - very unlikely to be connected to SB's PR as it is specifically dealing with operations in Paterson Province. Lots of Social Responsibility requirements to get and hold licences (including indigenous dealings). If it was SB related, more likely to be HQ based.
