Clinigen have not yet made an offer. I expect that the Board 's position is that they cannot share anything with Clinigen until a firm offer is on the table. I calculate £1 a share to give a market cap of around £185 million (there are 15 million shares due to staff) which would be too low. By bringing forward the results the BOD have put pressure on Clinigen to get on and make an offer acceptable to management or go away.

This company is now very cheap. As shareholders have been long suffering, the company is exposed to a cheeky bid.

In these situations the sp of the offeror usually falls but in this case the price of Clinigen has risen seven days in succession! Strange.

In 2015 Clinigen bought out an Australian company on 25 times EBITDA. Half was paid in a combination of cash and shares and half was deferred on attainment of milestones in first two years post acquisition.

I note that FUM was admitted to Aim in 2003. Sadly people who were suffering from ED then are probably no longer with us. Hopefully we will not have to wait another 14 years! They really do need to get a move on.

I understand from the company that the results will be published in Sept. As the AGM was held later this year, they provided a trading update at the AGM.

Unlike last year there was no clear trading statement issued pre AGM. This has wrong-footed a number of traders.

Note that last year the trading update was issued on July 20th, so could be next Wednesday.

The accounts show that there are warrants to subscribe for 43 million shares attached to the loan notes. If you add also the options outstanding of 6.6 million, there is a potential for 152 million shares to be in issue. If the loan were converted, the net assets would currently amount to £58 million, 38p a share imo.
