There was a RNS this morning re shareholdings. Whoever designed that form clearly did not wish it readily comprehensible. I am assuming that someone has increased their holding over 5%.

Since it's over a year away from hitting the market, one should apply a discount. It all depends on the degree of institutional involvement. Would they accept a cash offer of say �150m/�200m with some sweeteners for management. ? We have seen how a buyer can split the interests of management, private ivestors and institutions in the Quantum Pharma case last autumn.

Many thanks for digging this out johndean. I am sure the Board would like to find a way of eliminating the debt to Andrew Black. The interest rate is high, and there is a conflict in having a shareholder as a lender. Maybe they will do a partial placing with a couple of institutions after publication of the trading update.

I don't think there has been a leak, unless it's a bid. The most recent announcement on November stated that they were ahead of expectations. Now that the festive season is upon us, people have woken up to the fact that the next announcement is due in about five weeks. Still seems to be flying off the shelves, tastes better than the Schweppes product. Massive potential outside the UK as well.

Ouput is in line with their targets but will that generate enough cash?

Sorry I have not been following this as closely as I should have done. It is now clear that the drop in the price on November 8th was done to enable the new institutional investor to climb on board as per TR 1 issued on November 13th. The drop in the share price on the 8th has been seized on by some broker (according to Share Prophets) that the SP has shot its bolt. I don't agree.

The licences are currently set to expire November 30th. If CLNR wish to apply for other licences they will need to demonstrate activity on P2248 and P2252. Therefore there has to be a farm in by that date. If not, they risk losing the licences and would consequently not be considered in further licensing rounds.
