Anyone that thinks the Mexican Government couldn't/wouldn't, intervene, if Silver Skyrockets; should listen to this Mexican Billionaire. Everything is possible. Quite an interesting video. @ 21 minutes. https://youtu.be/9Bgvq4lDs4k?si=uuKuNphHckhfeOwV
That is certainly a risk with some tinpot countries. If the Silver price went berserk, they wouldn't hesitate to introduce punitive taxes or Nationalisation.
Excellent 48 pence rise today, but I haven't a clue why? The silver price was in the red to the tune of 20 - 30 cents at the time. It sort of makes up for all the times when the exact opposite used to take place.
It's looking like a bit of a "Tree-shake". Only to be expected after such an excellent run. I think they've only finished in the red, once, over the last 3 weeks or so.
Apparently; if Silver closes above $35/Oz, for three consecutive days - today being the 3rd - it's off to the races! Let us pray!
Yet here we all are. For better or worse - all hoping that they'll finally "allow" Silver to rip.
Hey up! Has Silver finally broken out of the $35 barrier? This is the 3rd time of asking. Apparently, it's never happened 4 times? Fingers crossed that the Monkey Hammer doesn't rear it's ugly head.
According to this recent article - the future is bright - the future is Silver... https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/ftse-100-stock-fire-still-102421186.html
I thought we might have received a backlash with the S.P. this morning. With the Gold & Silver price retreating overnight & profit taking from yesterday's big gains. I suppose there's still time, but still good to see - especially after all the pain these last four years.
Already there! I'll be reinvesting some of mine in the yellow stuff.
The Dollar/Sterling exchange rate certainly went against us after the initial announcement.
Well; after the Mexican Government took their 10% slice of the pie, & exchange rates, etc; i was left with exactly 46 pence/share. Anyone else get clobbered differently?
Crash - what crash? Happy tomorrow! 🤑
I know it's another company but it's in the same ballpark. Anyone risking a few bob with this particular IPO; & any thoughts? I myself will be having a little flutter - Fridays dividend is already burning a hole in my pocket!
Good old Donald. We can always rely on him to put the cat amongst the Gold Price, Pidgeons. My first post in over 5 years of following this group, closely.
