A bitt to soon for short IMO, but not to bad. What worked for me, yesterday, was long and short combo with short close to 4;30 which I closed first thing this morning and start long. Near the end of day I shall close long and open short. I think that this week shp will open low and close high. If sp gets more volatile, other than just mainly going in one direction, trading is what I will do. I'm not excluding possibility of sp reaching £43 by year end due to special divi bod would have to throw in and possibly more. Remember, abv was betting on shp shares to and if there is a hint of them profiteering hugely from it legal action .not just by shp but others to, could be on the negotiating table. All fun and games.

Possibly but not likely(on short mid term). Penalties, abvv will pay to SHP, for pulling out will be distributed as special divi to 'upset ' shareholders.

Hope you are well. Yes, imo, it is time for groasers bashing on a simular scale as banks were(rightfully ). City new of groasers financial position (exception tsco's accounting) yet tolerated it for so long. Now they decided to profit by nocking them down fast and furious, only reason I went short( in this cases following trend ment making money). We need grocers to feed us and I think and hope they will sort them selfs soon( not just because I closed short here today and my long is not doing so well). I do think that sbry and MRW are in a bit better position than tsco but not hugely. All of them, IMO, have same problem, arrogant and dismissive management suraunded by friends and family members at work with only one aim and that is to sck....most of their staff and customers. Wast pay packigigies and no accountability (banks syndrome) are to be blamed for current situation. Anyhow be good amigo and atb.

They took a view sp will drop more than divi. And hopping Other market jitters will nock sp more, if nothing else is known to them. I wouldn't be surprised if they had shares (longs)to. Proz make money aether way, hedging .

I meant Sept. positions( long as well as short) will close today-Monday. Dec.- Mar. still to run. Any market roomers - jitter will keep moving sp. I managed to do 11 trades so far ( In last couple of months) long short and shares. Made far more that way than just buying shares and waiting for£ 53-£54. It wouldn't be unreasonable to guess that big boys have done much more trades than me and will continue to do so., unless there is guaranty TO will go ahead and Abb sp will remain constant.There isn't such guaranties hence sp moves, gap is narrowing (in which sp could move) with time passing and absence of stronger indication TO will not go ahead for whichever reason. IMO still time for big boys to move sp below £50 and than back up. Anybody's views on AZN sp short term?

Remember, longs have to close as well. Yes roomer got this sp from &37 to £43 ish and roomer will continue to push sp up and down till fat lady sings.

Sept. shorts closing hence sp going up. from 14th Sept new shorts will open and sp will go down imo. how low will it go is anyones guess. we are still months from completion of to and sp will move up and down on any wisper. gla

Forgot to mention, divi adjustment for leverage trading will take place on Wednesday morning whilst share holders will have to wait for record date to get divi.This will affect speed and direction of sp movement .One more thing to consider in forming a view about immediate (ex and poss ex divi date) sp and possible dynamics of it.

Sp price will be adjusted (reduced) by same amount as divi on opening Wednesday morning (from Tuesday closing price). Adjustment of the opening sp on Wednesday will take 1 second, but ''market forces ''will take sp afterwards. Question is what will be sp price on close of business Tuesday. If you think this sp is ok to invest in adm, than divi is good bonus. If you are hoping to pop in on Monday or Tuesday afternoon for a quick divi gain and no pain you might not get lucky, but than again you might. If you are going for any leverage trading multiply divi x position and that is what will be taken or added to your cash position on Wednesday morning. If you are going short and sp does not stay 50p below Tuesday close sp you will be waked twice. IMO this is good sp and should hold at least. Not an advise to take any particular position but personal opinion. Gla

Business model appears to make profit, there will be others (competition ). Low setup cost, high margine , we will soon see another (fatty ) kid on the block. Even than je. should be able to continue making money, but valuation is ridiculous ATM .

IMO , investors are considering puling out of resent ipo's and serial shorters are targeting same. And yes, there is always better time to buy and sell. As long as you are happy with price paid - received for your investment everything else Mother Nature will provide. Gla
