That comment reminds me of someone over on IRR who was deriding people selling out at 30p and all the way down to 22p..they actually went down to 15p..it always amazes me when someone calls out another when you have no idea of their financial position/situation/predicament or profit/loss

I think it is to stop speculation around any price sensitive info positive or negative before they are in a position to announce for sure

Well we do know the rig is down and that ground works at TE 11 will not start until testing is complete..we also know they are testing for movable hydrocarbons early feb as in now whilst they wait for the stimulation equipment..they also said they would be in a position to update mid feb so probably end of week

and of course they will be giving up their own concessions in Ecuador

But that maybe the dilemma supposing someone else does not come in for their stake .. is it not the case that a major could takeover solg and with that control of ENSA and Cornerstone shareholders could be stuck for a very long time waiting for financial reward as they will still have to deal with their liabilities

Yes savshare should of course stated that either Cornerstone or any potential purchaser of their stake would be responsible for their share of the costs pro rata

should of added even if the 200 million comes out of future earnings from the project that would still be a long term holding

it is the case that if a company comes in and outbids solg for Cornerstones stake they are going to go after the whole lot because surely they would not pay a premium over and above what solg are offering only to be out muscled by the remaining shareholders and then become liable for the inherited costs owed by Cornerstone estimated to be circa 200 million dollars at feasibility

Personally I do not think that it would work like that in Sounds case..any major looking to get a foothold in Morocco with all that Sound have achieved and a desire to maintain and probably increase momentum and also enjoying the relationships that have been forged in country ,whom they will work alongside in the future and also a company that Sound would be happy to put forward will want to come to an agreed price..I do believe whatever the price it will be a done deal..that is not to say it was not a potential offeror that subsribed in the last fundraise but cannot see stake building imo bwtfdik

I think you have knocked the nail on the head SavShare .. this is exactly why NM has chosen now as I believe the potential for sp enhancing news is in the pipeline and will make the current approach attractive

Cannot agree with that point of view at all ssmith and I think whatever outcome materializes whether it be another party or indeed Solgold that gets Cornerstones stake will be in solgs shareholders interests..you only have to look at the interest from the bigger players like BHP and Newcrest and what they are prepared to pay..yes there will be more shares issued but having 100% of ENSA would be a huge hurdle jumped into making the future path clearer for the ultimate takeover I believe

When you say they are in the same process what do you exactly mean by that..I accept they are with the ARSO but they were submitted at different times and for different purposes and the potential issues affecting the enviroment presumably are probably different ..that is not to say that they could not be awarded at the same time but then you do not believe along with many others that is ever going to happen..still begs the question why do you not give up and go and find something else to invest in as without the permits we are all doomed !!

The permits for Pg 10 and 11 were originally submitted for screening in May 2017 so in light of how long the IPPC has been going on that is a relatively short period of time..I submitted an application to my local authority to build a house a
year ago and I am no nearer to finding out as yet..
At this juncture it is the permits to re enter the wells that are far more important although the award of the IPPC would be a huge milestone
