It would appear they see more value in chasing the Lithium at the moment and I guess the possibility of an IPO on the Asx is where the fund raise comes into play for Ricca..in the grand scheme of things a bit of a freebie now !

2 = A customer ( Piedmont ) for 50% at a formula linked to the market rate ..don't think they will pay full whack but still a good deal to have them on board

Think you need to get those blinkers off pasty..it was a great deal for us then and now..we are financed and have a treasury chest and in control of remaining 50% ..try being a exploration company with no funds in a worldwide recession abd the outloik would be an awful lot bleaker than now that is for sure..as i said before we could be awash with incoming cash in 2024 and getting dividends which would not be possible without piedmont and I am sure management had talked to various other cos before making their selection !!

I ditto what ShearClass says ..seen it so many times before when you think you have found a company with unbelievable potential and it starts getting the attention and the sp rise to reinforce ones view and then its value starts falling apparently inexplicably..it never hurts to take some profit off the table and if you believe in the fundamentals of the co then you can always buy back in

I am fairly sure that many would want the short term value creation even if it was only 75% of said carrot..we have had years of yo yoing with all the highs and lows that this project has brought..there are still many hurdles to get over even to get close to production..lets have a half decent offer ( and by the way I should imagine that quite a few have topped up and or averaged down at around the current sp ) so many would probably settle for a little less than prices in the higher regions that have been touted and an opportunity to move on to something else..personally I dont want to be hanging round for the next few years on a possible maybe of a bigger payout

Presumably Q nobody rushed to buy out Cornerstone as they would have inherited a huge liability..the amalgamation seems to simplify things all round

A little bit naive there maidit with regards to the 'unexpected ' funding..one of the main reasons why companies are on Aim is to appeal to a wider investment market and indeed raise cash and most tech startups which Mos effectively is chew through it in copious amounts ..in addition when trying to expand their business model very often do not make a profit..certainly not unexpected to be honest imo..would have liked a little bit more progress with announcing contracts before cash call but it is what it is

lol that is focussing on the asset..they are taking it to a wider market that are more focussed on mining companies who will help them get ALL to a valuation more akin to their peers hopefully !

But Q you have just given a description of algo trading..any individual can use a auto platform and it enables an investor to place trades when they are away from their screens..

Just out of interest Q if they are not an automatic execution of a trade when the broker processes it why does he mark it as an auto as opposed to an ordinary trade ? Genuinely interested

Unfortunately the dire economic data is not just confined to the UK..pretty much world wide !!

This is one you would want to see to production..very little dilution , huge resource and shallow near surface ..if the price of spod is anywhere near todays price when we produce ALL will be awash with cash and hopefully be returning it to shareholders in dividends

One thing I have learn't is never be afraid to take a profit..probably a bit tougher to take a hit but makes sense more when it is a bit of a gamble rather than an educated investment like ALL ..if you put all the positives together they should comfortably weather this downturn and come up smelling of roses on the other side..they have got the finance both in their own treasure chest and also Piedmont involvement but more importantly they have got what everyone else in the lithium space wants..personally good time to be adding in small measures which is what I am doing
