That is the big nagging doubt..BM was very confident about this drill and I need to check one of his interviews but I was convinced his reason for TE 10 was based on 9 just a deeper reservoir but shallower drill

I thought the last update from JP was early december for GSA although I am guessing that will be taken with a pinch of the stuff that Crude chucked over his shoulder

went over the bar and the other one threatened the corner post..I knew we were in trouble when we had that analogy

The thing is if they were so confident of the position of the drill with all the seismic where on earth does that leave us now

am going to put my head on the chopping block and probably have it lopped off straight away but given that we knew from JP that we would be entering a new phase of reporting nothing untoward so far..we already know and expect to come across tight rocks but JP believes that these can be stimulated to produce commercial gas and we know that there was a problem in the TE 8 well with rugosity and unable to get any accurate readings..however TE 9 has reached TD without problem ..i think there is a very good chance now that given every other hole at Tendrara has had gas shows TE 9 will be no different and that with stimulation will be commercial..a bonus if it flows without help but JP was always confident that they could get the tight rocks to produce especially as he did say that he still thought TE 8 could produce and many on here have got that down as a duster..neck on the block I think we will get an rns very shortly to say they are putting TE 9 on test and the rig dismantled..chop away

Hopefully the next rns will just say that wireline complete and now going on to do a rigless test..that would just be grand just after the market closes so I can just have good thoughts over the weekend

It was just that on TE 8 the liner was put in before TD ..does that not matter that we are already there on TE 9

with knowledge of drilling..With the announcement of commencement of drilling we were told they would install a 7" liner if required..well it appears we went to TD without it because they did say it would be in an update if required..doing some research the use of the word completion is the process in which the well is enabled to produce gas and in open hole completion sand screen or gravel packs are installed in the last drilled uncased reservoir section which maintains the structural integrity of the wellbore..not sure if i am chatting balls but to those in the know is that a plausible explanation for not having the liner

I would not worry so much about the grammar more the cr*p that you have written in the text..I mean are you really being serious

Only one problem with that plan..I can almost guarantee you that if I sold now in an attempt to buy back in cheaper TE 9 will come in with a shed load of gas and I will be locked out for ever or at best a much higher price..no my plan is if this well does disappoint which i have not resigned myself to yet and it hits 14 /15 i will double my holding

dd is the 7"liner a necessity if gas has been found or is it a precautionary measure if they think the integrity of the well may be compromised..thanks

As far as I can tell we could just of easily found gas in both the tagi and paleo..7" liner next rns anybody

With that point of view held for so long why on earth do you still hold on to them then..if I really felt that way about the share they would be sold and done with and I could name a few but not Sound

Yes I did the same am sure that is what he said but may of confused it with not compromising the drill

for my ignorance but I know the TD was always planned as circa 3022m but just to raise a point that I was going to ask yesterday and see that wornbuffet made the same point and that was that JP said we would not go on to the paleo if there were no gas shows in the tagi..have I imagined that or can anyone else recall him saying it

From that perspective I believe that TE 10 is a shallower drill and guessing that is why it is also cheaper than TE 9
