Just taking what is in my pension and need advice if taking over 50k ..that is in a with profits pot

I do beg to differ on that as you know I always felt a raise was on the cards and as I have said before think they would have liked more which makes me think 2 things..there is the possibility they will come back for some more probably Q2 19 and that there is no sale of anything in the pipeline..having said that I am upbeat for next year and hopefully we will see a good recovery in the space with some more tangible news and direction

Looks like it has not quite settled yet..perhaps just as well have not got more funds to invest just yet..ATG perhaps you now are a little more understanding of people that sold higher up and maybe you called it right only in the short term I hope though

Definitely looks like a overhang and I would be grateful if you take your time gobbling them up..I think much of the foundations for IRR in place for progress now to be appreciated by the market..2019 could be with an expected upturn in commodity values turn out to be a pivotal year for IRR

Whyast yes I know all of that my comment was all a bit tongue in cheek sarcasm..however if you look at all the moronic postings from many on this board including so called shareholders who said at the time they were bombarding the Slovenians with emails I am sure some of those were abusive ..also look at the postings with regard to the ability by AST to raise more money..so many who apparently are invested here wanted to vote it down pour scorn on management and shoot themselves and all other shareholders in the foot , groin and head..ie if they are shareholders but there is no accounting for stupidity sometimes..if it is all a foregone conclusion and you do not want to be a part of what you see as a debacle sell up and move on..I have no idea how this is going to end up but we desperately need to get the permits if not it is going to be a very difficult road ahead

It does seem a little strange that even though they have exceeded their own timeframe for permit response by about 4 and a half years they now think it appropiate to have a review of the process to see if there had been any undue pressure from the applicants..well they did not think that for all the time they were stalling and no mention of it right up until the last minute..Slovenia now stating an overhaul of the permitting process..will AST benefit..hopefully through all the noise from here and abroad their will be a positive outcome but am not going to hold my breathe

A question for you duster..why do you feel the need to keep on repeating your sh*t..everybody knows that valuation was if they had the permits and before the problems with pg 11..we all know the situation but you bang your drum regularly and loudly as if the use of capitals makes us read the details of your posts more closely..err no I actually think you are talking to yourself most of the time

Yes you cannot argue with the fact that options at 30p are set at 50% higher than when granted bearing in mind you would not expect them to be exercised unless the sp was well in excess of that..On a separate note I am happy that short term funding has been sorted with management heavily interested..do think the company is set for a possible rerating in 2019 and with reports of an upturn in commodity cycle can only bode well..from a selfish point of view I now think IRR presents itself as a compelling case for investment and have cashed in my pension of which some I want to invest here..however i do not get it for 15 days from the pension company receipt of paperwork so can everyone else not buy for a while lol thanks gla

To be honest I did not really believe that there was a plan B until very recently as plan A was always to sell whatever we had at the end of the 3 wells dusters or not..there are many reasons why I did not take profit and ultimately the loss but slowly and surely it appears those reasons were flawed..only because the goalposts have been moved though !!

I accept what you say daveyboy but I am still having problems now with what JP said about being able to sell what we have without finding anything else for a £..if as BM says you do not get anything for potential where does that pound come from and maybe he just should not of said it

If CH is going to the christmas gala as a gift for the minister of infrastructure to pass onto the enviroment minister he could get him a new can as the one they have been kicking down the road for the last 5 years must be in a bit of a bad state by now !!

It does not matter who has control if they do not have the permits to re enter the wells it is no good to anyone

also as i said before I think once we have a definitive price for the gas the BOD can clarify how much TE 5 horst would be worth more accurately

Neptunes for JP to say that he could sell what we have for a £ presumably would therefore be the whole package of .325 recoverable gas infrastructure in place and the seismic if as BM states there would be nothing on the table for exploration portfolios

yep that is my dilemma..if I buy now and it does not turn up there is no guessing where we might end up and if I wait and it does come in it might not send the sp soaring but enough to stop me from taking the risk bearing in mind TE 10 looming

hmmm you are right St Mary i thought the same but am in two minds ..I never did subscribe to the big numbers talked about on here which in part came from the BOD in the first place ..that is not to say an attractive price was not attainable but unlikely that we would find the quantities to achieve those big numbers but if so then of course very happy to be proved wrong..however having reduced the price I need to get out of this to try and repair the big hole in my portfolio I intend doubling my holding but do not know whether to wait for the outcome of TE 10 where if a duster the sp could be a third of the price but in the meanwhile if we get the gsa that could possibly firm the price up..decisions decisions
