I tend to agree with Neptunes and generally the feeling is the odds are stacked against us ..on the flip side anything positive and sentiment will completely change

My thought pattern with some stocks is wait and see the next bit of news and be prepared to pay a bit more with the benefit of the extra information but with IRR am happy to add as they come down as I generally do believe that they have gone under the radar and are under valued ..I think it would be fair to say that for many there was not enough clarity on what some of the results did mean for IRR and also because of the very many different projects going on maybe a lack of concentration on any one in particular but that now seems to be put aside as Ghana comes to the top of the pile..let us see where we are in a few months

I think we are going to have to wait until we are well in to 2019 until this market malaise begins to sort itself out..not only have we got a sickly commodities market we have the shenanigans that is Brexit going on and it is anybody's guess where that will end up by end march 19..personally the low free float becomes a positive for lths when all of a sudden the shares are in demand and if there is a realization moment on the markets after a bit more news then we could be off to the races but in the meantime I see it as a golden opportunity to add..I could be wrong of course but that is the choice I am making

Agree mike and I am in a few shares where I am under water but the end game is what is important..in investing you can never be sure of the outcome or time entry and exit at the best price but if the fundamentals are right the chances are that value will be realized..I think mike your projections are a possibility but even if they only got to a third of that market cap of a billion that is still a substantial return

For me the short term price weakness is actually a bonus..i have held off investing more as first I wanted the fundraise out of the way and secondly we cannot ignore the fact that there is still a void period whilst the work is going on to prove up the lithium and gold resources to the point where the market has enough material information to put a value on the projects but if you believe in what we have as the management do ( and I do not care how much money you have you would not chuck the sort of cash around that VM and family has ) if you really did not think that value would out in the end. A comparison was made about the sp in solgold earlier about it dropping from 46p to 20p but it was just following the cycle curve of a company that makes a discovery and then drops back when it raises more cash to prove it up..I do believe that DGR even produced a graph to demonstrate where the sp would go up and then subsequently come back down again when raising cash and apart from the odd blip it will continue its upward trend down to a few factors mainly further discovery which is inevitable or takeover..similarly IRR has followed a somewhat comparable route but without specific delineation which is yet to come..it may be a while yet and therefore that realization may make people sell and wait for further news but you can be sure if there are significant resources to be had some of the bigger boys will know about them and like solgold it will only take one deal for the price to react..patience and ignoring a bit of short term pain and value will out or take the chance and sell and try and get back in later

I also think mike by focusing on one asset it gives the market something a little bit more tangible and better to understand the potential rather than the flow of rns on different projects that was a tad more difficult to keep up with

Agree with what has been said good to get medium funding sorted to maintain momentum and then hopefully raise the next tranche next year at hopefully a higher price from here

record I think you would have to go along way to find a ceo the caliber of VM who is backing his management and the quality of projects that IRR has with serious cash..I am happy to follow the leader and if I get my holding up to the total I have in mind at less than what he has paid all the better..not going to get into any petty arguments but think you are being a little naive ATG..first of all you under estimated the need for cash and whilst in all probability VM may of wished the price to be higher from a dilutive point of view the raising was not done at a substantial discount..in addition the commodities market has been stuck in treacle for quite a while although some commentators are expecting an uplift next year which could benefit IRR as I think Ghana is going to come to the fore and the market is made more aware of what the potential is

personal opinion but if there is any chance we can get remotely close to a pound JP please take it now..certainly this board of pis has spoken and those of us who were more realistic about eventual LE price would be even more likely to want out at that price and those that had more loftier takeout price in mind will now be having a more serious question mark hanging over that outcome..at a pound or close to it nobody is going to lose which eliminates the impending financial disaster most are facing at the mo especially with the concerns over the outcome of the next drill..an LE at this price will be a relief to many of that I am sure although I know there would probably be plenty willing to take the risk until the end but do the deal now and many will still follow JP in another venture but a drawn out torturous repeat of the last few months will be too much too bare for many myself included..if the possibility of a deal is there to be done let us get on with it please

Yes but there is a big difference..in the casino the pain would be over on the night..we have endured what is it 12 -18 months of this

In a way you really could not make it up but I did wonder when I did not take the chance to sell at a £ if I was going to put myself through a downward spiral of misery and false hope and blow me down here we are..If I have any chance of recovering what has been lost got to hold until the end and with a 14% chance that is a bit of a long shot but stranger things have happened

I see Sumitomo are taking a stake in Teck Resources copper project in Chile..Teck are planning to return some of the capital received for the stake to shareholders by way of a dividend..now that would be a good way of getting a stagnant sp rising selling a stake in one of your projects to a cash rich conglomerate !!
