George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Getting anything built these days in UK is a minor miracle in itself. The Planning system is massively over-bureaucratic....policies give with one hand but take away with the other. Building regs and excessive and construction costs IMO often seem out of control.
Sirius are doing an amazing job in the circumstances and deserve nothing but applause, even from the tossers who are trying to decry the achievements to date. These idiots will be left with egg on their face, nothing surer.
We really do need som e proper good news.....how’s about releasing some SXX Poly4 hoodies for the troops !
Goats- when I hear folk say they don’t agree with brexit but accept it.. kinda reminds me of an innocent sentenced to death and says, “I don’t agree with the decision but tomorrow at dawn is fine by me “
Some things are worth fighting for !
Calm down AlanG, you're proving my point :)
verdeceleste....Skier is a Doom Merchant, he'll have a supply of pills that'll do the trick.
Avocet...I'd like to think you are calling that correct !
Refuses to load at times, been like that for a while now.
Its LSE's way of saying 'cut down your visits' :)
Pleased with that. :)
Holy cheese....agree. Someone, dont recall who, posted the other day they reckoned the TorPs wouldn't be met.
Wrong :)
Will cost an awful lot more I'd imagine !
What price the sp in a takeover situation. How is it calculated?
Skier...biggest heap of cak I've seen on here yet, and there's been plenty.
I'm assuming by your handle, you only go in one direction ?
Bellers, what goes up must come down.....so goes the theory !
I wouldn't want to risk it myself. Glad to see some blue. Hopefully the bassas will have their fingers burnt.
John...agree with your 12.29 post. By and large I'm relaxed about the RNS, this project was never going to be straightforward but problems have been faced up to and responded to.
However, the leaks are absolutely inexcusable as it allowed some in the know to take advantage. CF's reputation amongst PI's is at its lowest in my experience of SXX (pre-Planing Committee). He now owes the PI's big time.
9:24 and just checking in for first time today. Missed some mayhem. Adopting a grin and bear approach,no other option. Lesson learned from past few years ...when I find myself looking at my profits and patting myself on the back, maybe its a good time to take them. But haven't been able to, for fear of missing the long awaited big jump up. It'll come.
Chrisab....how would someone fare who had panic-sold say 1m shares earlier today with the intention of buying back at one of the lowest intraday prices....would they have got their shares back or, as you are suggesting, wouldn't as they are being held back by the market for a known big buyer?
Does it work that way ?
What a bloody stupid alias.
You have to realise nothing you say on here is going to be taken seriously.
dt....our Board have extensive experience in mining finance and infrastructure delivery. Thats good enough for me.
Cmon dt....and CF then sits back and crosses his fingers ?
Crossrail will have been monitored by committee who couldn't agree the colour of sh*t.
SXX's finger will be on the pulse.
In conclusion, less chance of delays at Woodsmith.
dt....in all projects the contractor is only as good as the client.
