George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Amxdd : good point. That deal wouldnt has been signed without the question being asked re St 2. The Europeans would've got more than a 'pretty confident' from CF. Maybe too they saw seeing the tide of opinion turning on Brexit, thus giving further comfort.
Can’t see small investors losing out
CF knows he’d have a riot on his hands the amount of locals and workforce invested in here !
Stan, theyre under about 12" at the mo about 24" wide. Not much light getting in there. Ready salted too presumably :)
Attempting growing my potatoes in 100% seaweed, this year.
Lay the seed on the grass, cover in seaweed, top up as necessary and wait :)
Poly 4? ...bah !
Reminds me, young welders at an oil yard being trained on the usefulness of safety hats : If a welding rod falls from the top of the rig and hits you....with no hat on, it will go straight through you....with your hat on, it will go only 3/4 of the way through you :)
I wouldn't worry about CF's use of the term 'pretty'. What else could he possibly say at this stage outside a formal RNS?
Anything more positive or negative than 'pretty' would give the game away and impact on the sp.
'Accretive'....not a word you'll hear much on farms !
'Rocket' variety ?
Bought £5k worth of Kore a while back when they'd fallen IIRC from 8 to 5p. Up 20 odd% today to about 2p. Have them filed under 'waste of time' !
Scotman, in the context of the current discussion 'could' can easily be taken as 'might' and before long 'probably will'. We are all getting a bit nervy unfortunately with lack of info and too much supposition.
I could jump off a non-Brexit related cliff tomorrow but won't.
Scotman : if Gina locks the gates she loses the workforce, the contractors and the goodwill of the locals. If she is as smart as she's supposed to be, thats not something she should be contemplating.
That last para is dreadful journalism. Lazy in the extreme.
MAESTROS : as a naive 18 yo student I went on a trip down a coal mine back in the 1970's. After quite a few miles underground by train and crawling we got right up at the coal face. For some reason I thought it sensible to ask a miner where they went when they needed the toilet. He just laughed.
I'd imagine things have moved on a a bit these days.
LL ....are you aware of a precedent where the CEO of a failed major infrastructure/mine project would be rewarded so handsomely ?
This 'pretty confident' quote is irritating.
Is is possibly because he couldn't say 'very confident' (whether he was or not) ? Such a statement, every bit as much as 'not confident' would have a marked impact on the sp.
LL.....do you still have your x millions of shares ?
But if the sp crashes and burns, CF stands to lose his potential wealth. He's in the same boat as us, albeit in a better cabin !
If my favourite football team was playing its main rival and, with 10 mins left to play of the 90, were getting beat or even drawing I would not at all be confident they would win the game....even if they were playing well.
If they were winning 3-0 or more I would be absolutely confident.
If they were winning 1-0 or 2-0 then I would be 'pretty confident of getting there'.
Thats where I see we are right now. In as good a place as we can be in a major game.
I wouldnt bet against us..... thats for sure.
Desman10001. If its my ISA post your referring to then you come across as a bit of a prick. I've been in here since pre Planning meeting days. That probably won't mean anything to you though.
Ok...this years allowance just done at 21.75. Pleased with that. Noticed lack of availability while quotes were being generated. Taking that as a good sign.
Hand brake off....dont spare the horses !
