Perhaps all the idiotic posting over the weekend put PI's off. This used to be one of the 'saner' boards...Too many posters using PC's in schools I suppose, going off some of the grammar and spellings !

...tragic death at CRM is obviously a sad time for the workforce and the family of the Shift Supervisor concerned. Whilst it is right to suspend operations until the cause is identified and corrective action taken to prevent further occurrences, it is yet another blow to ELR. It does seem that this stock is cursed. Accidents like this are usually a sign of poor management and investigations can sometimes uncover other bad practices. Is this drop in SP a buying opportunity, or another reason to lose confidence in the BoD ?

If it's a Director or a large holder, over 3%, they will have to issue an RNS giving details. If it was just a PI selling off, then we'll never know. Interesting day in prospect.

It does a bit, especially as we don't know at the moment, who the seller was. Maybe we'll find out later.

You're right when you say that nobody seems to know. There will be some who know obviously, the ones conducting the trial for example, but they shouldn't use that knowledge to gain an advantage, that's 'Insider Trading' which is illegal. The PI's such as ourselves don't know these things, if we did we would all be very rich. So we make judgments based on our research and experience. With any luck we sometimes get it right. Sometimes.

By doing 'dummy' buys at different numbers of shares, you can find out the actual prices available, which differ slightly to the Bid and Ask. By comparing them to the prices shown for each deal, you can see if what is shown as a sell, is actually a buy. It is just a function of the automatic system which is based on the mid price.

It all depends on the initial trial results. They are due to make an announcement this month, don't know exactly when, but it will move the SP that's for sure. The indications seem to be good, but as with AKT, it only takes one bad trial to start a major decline.

I'm not sure. A lot of the buys are showing as sells, but the 500k was a sell. I would expect that large a sell to move the SP but it didn't. I think I'll wait and see, but I wouldn't be selling right now. Interesting to know who sold the 500k, hope it wasn't a Director !

Was a sell, but it didn't affect the sp at all. Seems set for the day now.

...yes, there are quite a few, if not large individually. However, it is trading at a short term high, so maybe a bit of profit taking by traders. It doesn't look like the sort of selling that a bad trial would bring about. Not that anybody would take advantage of knowing the results of course. That would be illegal !

The AGM happens every year at about the same time. Why would it cause an increase in the sp ?

PYM has a long way to go before it becomes profitable. There will be many ups and downs along the way and as long as they stay in business and the trials keep going well, I'll be happy. The big hope for all in here is that one of the products under development will come good and be either sold or licensed to one of the majors. It only needs one success to transform this company. However, I also thought the same of Intercytex and Ark and look what happened there. All small pharma's are a risk. The upside is enormous, the downside could mean losing everything. Don't want to sound too gloomy, but be aware of the risks and don't invest money that you really can't afford to lose.

I've been in and out of PYM many times over the years. If I was holding now, I wouldn't be selling as the initial trial results are due out this month. IMHO the sp will rise in the days leading up to the RNS and spike strongly if the news is good. I will admit that at this price, I won't be buying, but PYM is one I'm always watching. Remember, it's your money, nobody else can decide for you. Good luck whatever you decide.
