Motzfeldt is a massive amount of money and several years away from creating any income for Alba... unless they sell it on. Even a JV that carried us would leave us years away from any production. GROC is what could save LTH from oblivion although I'm expecting quite a bit more dilution before GROC get to production sometime in the next few years. Anyone who has bought in recently will have less of a hill to climb but LTH will have to sit and suffer for a while yet.
Raise can't be far away.... they raised £500K at the end of October... calculate cost of safety issues/wages/blasting/work on Motzfeldt and Finnsbro and they must have burned through most of that cash.... anyone who thinks they won't need more funds in the next few weeks hasn't done their homework.
Peel Hunt generally work on behalf of other people(fund managers/wealth management etc) so they could be selling for a number of reasons for example " fund managers often sell investments at a loss as part of a strategy called tax-loss harvesting. This is done to offset capital gains and reduce the overall tax liability for the fund or its investors. " . We don't know the exact strategy but it is leaving this share very cheap now to how it will look after the RTO imo.
I think you're right Fredd1e... its just taking time. When the licensing deals start to create an income and the revenue looks better in relation to the market cap this will take off.... or if any large alliances get announced in the interim.
'new chapter being written for Clogau' This could well be spin as we have heard similar optimistic updates many times now. Hopefully they will eventually find some gold and be able to process it fast enough to make some money. If there is no meaningful gold after this round of blasting imo they should shut Clogau down and stop wasting money.
I lost a lot of faith when we found out Korbus left and not too long after MA left, in my view they were the experts and we're left with a much weaker team.
