My understanding is that the rumour is the only reason that the share price is trading at over the placing price.

I reiterate - it is just a RUMOUR. If I knew then it would be abusing inside information rules...

Nonetheless, if true, this would not be the first business that has sought to rebuild itself away from listing rules and then relist.

Better hydrogen cars = more demand for hydrogen = good news for PHE.

Both announced fund raises today. SCLP raised £3.8m (not enough - they are likely to need more) and the SP increased by 32 percent. VAL raised £300k and dropped by 23 percent.

Maybe Uncanny can explain why he expects VAL to multi-bag when the wider market takes a contrarian view [and not just news expected].

Bottom feeding scum might have a field day as TRX is likely to end up way oversold. With a bit of fortitude I will be able to time a trade well again.

VAL wanted to raise £6m through convertible bonds to fund progress of the compounds - the deal that they are currently trying to exit. The current market capitalisation is about £2.5. At a 2 for 10 open offer they would have to price the offer at 12 times the current share price to raise the £6 to be 'fully funded to conclusion'.

I think that few shareholders would participate in an open offer at 3.6p when they can buy on the open market at 0.3p. The open offer will not fund the trials to conclusion.

Looks like punters are selling because they expect Woodford to have to sell down their holding (26.23 percent of shares in issue).

The article below is interesting - it is about a new quick charging battery technology which mainly uses Tin and Germanium. There is some Germanium in the Lagoa Salgada deposit which may add value to the Zinc mining byproducts.

A long way away but interesting nonetheless.

I agree that there is plenty of plastic but there is also a lot of coal that will not be mined and burned for electricity. The real question is which approach will be more profitable.

I would like to see PHE succeed (and have previously done well out of this share) but it is taking longer than most expected to deliver the first working / commercial DMG.
