In memoriam...
There was a Q&A session, which I unfortunately pressed pretty much on my own.
I asked a few questions, but didn't fish for any forward looking statements, which they aren't allowed to make.
1. GeneICE - requested more publicity be made on development stage compounds, such as the VAL 105 therapeutic for Alzheimer's. They will look to do something
2. 401 - asked about the deadline for the Clinical Trial Report. Answer was that the hard regulatory deadline is July. That;s the earliest we will see anything further on tumor/disease response
3. 401 - asked about commercial progress. Answer was that discussions are progressing well. Obviously they couldn't say more.
4. 201 - asked whether dosing at 8mg/kg was in-flight. Answer was that they are still recruiting, but expect both 8 and 16mg/kg cohorts to complete this year
5. 201 - asked on whether they had made progress on recruiting a daily dosing cohort for 201. Answer was that it was proving very difficult to get patients to commit to coming to the clinic daily for injections. So that doesn't sound promising
6. 301 - asked whether that they have decided on the final format. Answer was that its unsettled, with support for a number of formats i.e. oral pill, nasal spray, pessary, long lasting injection. The format investigation will be progressed in the 301 work, but will equally benefit the direction of 201.
7. 301 - asked whether trialling would go straight to phase 3 or whether a phase 1 trial would be mandated. Answer was that it's not been decided. However treating women of child bearing ages will have to be handled carefully
