No - I have a few shares in a listed company that requires some of the Directors to spend a portion of their remuneration in blind open market transactions.

Surely share based remuneration packages might be warranted?

I am focusing on protein and the crops they need to feed the swine / poultry demand - the farmers will tell you about the thinning soil but they never seem to work out how they are damaging their owned biomass / biosphere. Just selling exhausted land and ruining more is a damaging aspect of Capitalism. The eventual fall offs of fertilisers, medicines and plastic and other pollutants seem to have altered future generations prospects.

I recommend biodynamic produce if you have a local farmer who worships Demeter.

I posted over the weekend that I was going to put some spare funds into the Pictet Nutrition fund, which I have done.

The last few spare funds went into a speculative PHC purchase - the science is great [immunotherapy for seeds?] and the hedge fund investor has given some hope along with the new US Patent and penetration into the Brazilian market [geopolitics say Argentina are going to expand Soybean production to improve / cement relationships with China].

For the few who follow crop blight and rust this is important science even if they do not end up being the company that commercialises it.

This share has been a bit of a roller coaster for shareholders. Ospraie Ag Science bought a percentage of the company a while ago and have been adding to their shareholding since then.

The news stream has been positive since then but there has been a cloud over funding to positive cash flows - getting the US Patent issued and the Brazil update for sugar is good - the Asian Soybean Rust trials have been good so far and getting the foot in the door into the Brazilian market will help expansion into Argentina [an untapped market to date]. With the the US / China trade war changing geopolitics this may open a large new market for soybean producers focusing on exporting to China.

There does not seem to be much stock on offer at the moment - my small buy upped the Ask [but not the Bid].

My research is that appears that Link have not found a buyer for Woodford's TRX shares [no RNS yet]. Whoever buys the shares as the Fund gets wound down will be aware of the funding issues and may have been scared by the price that Invesco were prepared to take.

Despite what some have posted about 'a blue day' my model takes a dimmer view.
