Their models say cohorting is the best starting point (until regular student testing is possible) for getting schools back safely. Then a quick trip to Downing Street, a visit to the Palace to get knighted and the mother of all placings to ride the positivity and pay for the Turkish campaign - remember Boris comes from Turkish heritage [even though he did warn about the hordes of immigrants from there to get Brexit votes] so surely wants to see a win-win result?

I am expecting the placing price before the end of the year - there are too many impatient shareholders who thought that they were onto a quick money spinner; once furlough payments cease and speculators have to liquidate positions to pay bills a sustained sell off could start.

It may create another trading opportunity for some but this is likely to keep drifting down unless a new significant shareholder starts accumulating or some stellar news kicks in. But people have bills to pay and food to buy and too many will be facing being unemployed in a depression in the next few months.

Cash could be king until inflation eventually rears its ugly head again...

If you repeat often enough that 1 trades herald an RNS (or a buy / sell order?) some will eventually believe it and, of course, sometimes they will coincide with your prediction. Some say similar things about people who repeated claim a company is undervalued and people start buying shares / averaging up / topping up in that company because they become to believe it to be undervalued.

But are peoples statements true? Or re they just wishes that create an Illusion of Truth?

Brave of you... Some will probably get badly burnt. People sitting at home on furlough thinking that they are master traders are in for a rude shock when they stop getting the furlough pay, lose their jobs and then want to cash in their shares/paper profits to pay bills.

Sometimes it gets impossible to sell the hyped shares when the price starts dropping - the market makers are not mugs.

I have a second hand car and the average price for a 2nd hand car is £3k so my car must be worth £3k? Just as ludicrous a statement as saying VAL should have an m/cap in line with its peers.

Surely the company should be valued on it assets and its potential to generate free cash flow in the future not on what another company is valued at.

There seems enough enthusiasm to get this over 20p again... but the pool of buyers inevitably dries up so good luck timing your sells if you are riding the wave of positivity.

VAL has gone to a ten point ramp again - some never learn, others never forget. They did a placing at 7.5p a share and stated at the time that they had done so as the "Board felt the timing was optimum to strengthen the Company’s balance sheet to mitigate the risk to the Company of a possible change in market sentiment to Life Science companies".

The told shareholders they were taking advantage of favourable conditions to sell shares at 7.5p - they thought they were overvalued. And now dreamers are paying 12p [a 60% premium!] and the ramp could take it over 20p. I fear some will get burnt.
