If herd immunity is close then central bankers will need to stop printing and pumping money; interest rates will then rise a bit unless they want inflation to erode the debts they have racked up?

Too many Governments have a populist leaning for them to allow inflation to get out of control.

There may be too many people / miners chasing Lithium prices from a few years ago. I don't see BP or Shell etc chasing it like they would oil. Tesla worth nearly $1 Trillion and they are not looking to mine it themselves.

Why are the 'big boys' not interested?

Lithium is up 45% over the last couple of months; but is still under half the price of the highs in 2018.

Is Lithium a scare resource? No.
Are there supply shortages? Maybe.
Will advances in battery tech mean that Lithium becomes less important? Maybe.
Will batteries become ever more important in vehicles and the Grid? Yes.

Money will be made in batteries but maybe not in Lithium.
