There is a story in the FT about a reporter who asked in a news conference about data relating to breakthrough infections of the Delta Variant in China. The question was not answered, and the reporter was disciplined according to the FT story.

If China's home-grown vaccines are providing little protection against this variant, then China and other countries relying on those vaccines may be facing darker days than had been expected.

A story to keep an ear out for.

It is actually generous of ocelot to post the RNS extract - it is a reminder of the seemingly unfunded plans that will need to be paid for. It is a bit like cuddothisnow reminding people of the geothermal plans, which will require substantial funding.

I find it refreshing when people who are positive about a share point out the short term funding issues that may be faced. I have posted a few times recently that I think a funding event will happen in the near future. Nobody challenged my posts, which is tantamount to agreeing.

I just hope that any financing is done on terms that are not too onerous on shareholders; time will tell.

What is going on? When you read the last RNS they said:

Evidently the matters are not resolved.

Insidious makes a good point. UKOG have announced that AME "plan to pause any drilling until after the acquisition and processing of the new seismic data over the sidetrack's envisaged trajectory."

So there will be a delay whilst acquiring the seismic data and then a further delay whilst the data is interpreted. As others have speculated, the current rig will probably be used elsewhere in the interim, so a further delay may occur whilst a new rig is arranged. And then it might be winter, so another weather related delay may occur.

"Just a matter of time." - Maybe lots of time for the numerous delays.

Insidious deserves respect for warning potential investors of the delays; post recommended.
