My Dad would be a similar age if he was still with us... I regularly reflect on how fortunate I have been to have retired in my forties. Needing to work to pay bills sucks.

So ocelot will have you believe that an undeveloped gas field with an unknown amount of gas should now be valued at spot prices which are at a historic high. The market does not work like that unless it starts acting in an irrational manner and there are too many people who have previously been burnt by this share for that type of bubble to form again.

The current future prices for when the field might be likely to be producing gas are currently trading in the 45p to 60p range. Ramptastic posts need to be countered by a dose of realism?

I just skim read them and did not dig into all the history of the holdings... 2 of the 3 have increased the number of shares they held whilst their percentage holdings decreased; this seems to be down to the new shares being issued to fund the reverse take over where some of the existing shareholders bought some new shares but not enough to maintain their shareholding percentages.

There is no 'NOM crew' - you have invested in a share that I have been posting my opinion since it had the misfortune to be featured twice in the back pages of the Private Eye. It is a share than can throw up trading opportunities when there is clarity on funding.

As I have posted recently, the company has a high enough cash burn to have got through a significant portion of the cash that was on hand that was reported in the Interims. The loans recently received are most likely to be ring fenced for the Gas Field [most likely a condition of the security]. As such I and others are expecting a funding event soon, which could be a discounted share placing.

The company intends to lay out their geothermal plans in the next fortnight; how they plan on funding it will be interesting. As will any comments about progress with the gas field and current cash reserves if they go there. It is a shame that people such as yourself who are so positive about the company do not approach the brokers and take part in placings instead of buying on the retail market as it would help ensure any placing shares went to 'diamond hands' instead of flippers who want their percentages or shorters who buy them to close their positions.

And that trade is at 2.75% lower price than the whopper 2 days ago? Unlikely to be buys - maybe a shuffling a shares?

No - the oil field seems to have been nicked after they spent $180m on it. The share closed at 1.5p yesterday; today they announce a loan convertible at 0.5p. Deep trouble...

The Private Eye has an info-box called 'Number Crunching'. In the latest magazine, the feature this:

1 - only 1 of the '40 new' hospitals that Boris is promising is actually a new hospital on a new site [even though this lone new hospital involves closures elsewhere].

5 - the lone new hospital was approved to be built 5 years before Boris became PM.

Surely this level of misrepresentation is some sort of offence? He is after all deriving pecuniary benefit through misrepresentation, which is an abuse of public office.

Maybe Boris will spend some more taxpayers money and buy it; he has a track record of buying shoddy second hand kit to make himself look important [and a Chum from the Chumocracy might be able to make a few Quid].

I have been listening to a New York Dr who gives a weekly clinical update on the TWiV [This Week in Virology] podcast. He is not sure about Boosters, mainly because there are others in some parts of the world who need to be vaccinated more than he needs a Booster. But he did say recently that, ethics aside, if there was a spare dose that would otherwise be wasted he would be grateful if it went in his arm.

Those brokers are making money some punters do not know about - the market needs to be clearer.

I used to commission large bets when I was a bookmaker - my clients knew I would take a point on every bet when I was dealing with it. Here punters think that they are getting a trade with no trading fee but the house is getting a cut and not revealing the cut. It makes people think that the costs to participate in the market are lower than they really are which is unfair and distorts the market.

'on good news' - Good news is not enough even though it is thin on the ground. The news you are hoping for will mean more funds are required and when the company finances itself using discounted placings the 'good news' you are hoping for might see the share price fall.

'filter the sad'os...' - are you suggesting that people who have tried to ramp this share down from the pennies should be filtered? I find it more amusing reading those posts.
