Refuse workers have been in an ongoing dispute with the council over unilateral imposed daily changes and the removal of drivers from long-standing rounds without notice.

So when they say that 10 kids are absent from School with Covid they mean that 10 kids are absent from School with Covid AND the absence is not according to GOV guidelines. The other 100 kids off ill are not counted in the figures given out.

I turn 55 next year - I am most likely to start taking my Civil Service pension as soon as I become eligible... I do not trust GOV looking for popular cuts to 'benefits' and then clawing back state old age pensions from those who receive public sector pensions as it may be a vote winner for a broke and populist GOV.

After all, Universal Credit is clawed back from workers at around 70p in the £.
