1 - a loss of key personnel [ill-health; family circumstances; other opportunities etc]
2 - running low on cash resources
3 - hyped deadlines not being met [there is a building expectation of a deal by the end of the year]
4 - a key shareholder selling down
5 - general economic malaise causing pressure on the share price which causes a cascade of short term investors selling
6 - a force majeure event
7 - unexpected legal difficulties

Be wary of shares where volume and levels of posts are driven by optimism and hype. When people are writing chapter and verse explaining why the shares are a bargain consider what is in it for them [hint: it is likely to be their profit opportunity, not your financial health]?

They forgot how important cover crops are... They are killing their soil and another dust bowl is coming. It takes a decade to regrow just 1 cm of topsoil.

I own PHC shares as I think they are part of the solution of rebuilding soil health [NPK is just junk food for soil].

Insiders sold their shares on Thursday / Friday. What is in it for them to exercise their voting rights now that they have sold out? It is a problem that sometimes causes problems for SPACs as the people who held shares when the deal was announced are the people who got to vote in similar circumstances and a simple majority of all shares has been required.

'The Great Decoupling' is the phrase... Covid has exposed just how reliant the West had become on China. Now that we are taking baby steps to shore up our own production and supplies why would China want to take steps to help? And, their citizens are the people who have to breath in the dirty air and live on the polluted lands that are created to satisfy the demand from the west.

Can you blame them? Who would actually want to take actions that help the UK when their is a belligerent populist in power here?
