These are 155mm Howitzers so have a slightly longer range than the munitions being used by the Russians. They can be used to attack Russian guns without the equivalent munitions being able to strike back.

You are correct that the nation faces bigger issues than Party-gate, especially internationally. So having a leader who is respected, known as a person true to his word, someone who is known not to break laws and treaties, someone without questionable Russian donations etc might be useful.

Afterall, would you trust Boris with your daughter? Would you trust him to pay a bill he owed you or to keep to an agreement or manifesto promise?

My point (as indicated by the subject) is that criticism should be tolerated. When any political leader is given free reign they govern in their interests, not those of the Nation.
