Fair points... my only disagreement would be the tax threshold; if you stop taxing the poor there will not be enough tax income to pay for services which will then end up being curtailed. If we end up with privatised healthcare which locks poor people out of care, then the whole nation gets sicker as communicable diseases spread.

I think the changing of tax thresholds by the current GOV is a cynical attempt to do away with state funding of the NHS...
