Yes - if you look at 'Figure 1 East Star Licence map' on today's RNS you will see that the blocks announced today are along side the existing exploration area on the Rudny Altai Belt. And, these new areas are where there have been historic mining activity.

As noted in the RNS, mining here ceased in on one block 30 years ago and over 125 years ago on the other. Helicopter electromagnetic surveys were not the norm then so deeper deposits were far less likely to have been identified and exploited. Both of these areas have been surveyed in the recent program undertaken by EST - did they identify areas of interest?
