Another article about the new family of drugs being (ab)used for weight loss - the GLP-1 family of drugs - currently favoured by celebs, Doris, Elon Musk etc. People taking the drugs for around a year lose around 15% of their body weight.

"In one study with body composition assessed for a subgroup, lean body mass (which includes muscle and bone) accounted for nearly 40% of the weight lost."

People should be eating less and exercising more, preferably under the guidance of a dietician and trainer. Lean body mass should be increasing as muscle is rebuilt and fat lost. If you are losing muscle and bone mass, you are rapidly ageing.

This is a scandal waiting to blow up.

Ramps are working at the moment so they may have some success but it just makes for short term investors [gamblers?] who will flee on real news, good or bad. But ramping before a placing seems imminent may be a forlorn hope from desperados.
