Another share that I am interested in (PHC) has just released an RNS stating that City Financial are out.

I was mistaken - it was City Financial selling and they have completely liquidated their holdings.

They cannot announce market sensitive information at the Investors Conference - surely you know that?

If there are '10 billion barrels recoverable across our weild licences' surely the market capitalisation would be multiples of the current share price?

Maybe DL has something to sell UKOG?

And some on the UKOG board think they are raising £5m to buy out ANGS.

Issue shares at a penny each to buy ANGS for a penny per share. Yeah, right... Back to reality.

DHC postulating a further placing at 0,6p.

If the herds sentiment changes so fast where will the share price end up / how many shares will end up being issued?

This is getting a bit confusing - will be interesting to see how this plays out during the rest of the week.

Even DHC is concerned - that is not a good indicator.

If the rumours of another 500 million shares being issued at a penny are true, I wonder how many more that the long term holders here will want to absorb?

Will some lths get fed up and bail? Will new investors want to buy in? Will the sp drop below the placing price? Will traders want to buy the new shares from those who participate in the placing?

UKOG needs to either rebut the rumour or clearly explain why they need more funds and what the intend on using the funds for.

If you disagree with the post state your reasons instead of making a silly comment that someone is paid 10p for the post. All your approach does in incentivise those sceptical to respond with questions like 'when do you expect the next placing to happen and do you expect it to be at a discount to the prevailing share price?'.

You should be grateful [if you believe that posts influence share prices] - now you can average down should you so wish. As you posted earlier 'I might even top up should funds allow. But only if the price is right.'

As you say, it is only money. What is the 'right price' that you anticipate?

You guys do not get whatever it is. The 'other company' is hemorrhaging money with no sign of cash generation other than through diluted placings. Their science is not as advanced as many private investors might think.

Hold, top-up, accumulate, deal in Q1, average down etc is not an advisable investment strategy on a biotech company with slow progress and little funds to continue the research. Are you not surprised that some who have some understanding of the 'other company' post on that bulletin board when people make claims that are seemingly divorced from reality.

Posting about the 'other company' does not deflect from the issues here - there may well be a placing here as well.

Personally, I will not invest in the 'other company' again unless there is a significant advance in their prospects that the market does not understand. I will certainly consider re-investing here once my concerns about financing are allayed but I would do so as part of my moon-shot funds - remember, mankind did manage to get to the moon.

WOW! So MA might offer shareholders 22p a share for the shares he does not own - that is £210M, pay off the debts (about 1/2 a billion from memory), inject £100M in working capitol and not be able to renegotiate the exorbitant leases that have caused the problems for Debenhams. What a master investor he must be even though he is sitting on a large loss on the shares that he has already bought.

A dose of reality may be required before remortgaging your house to take advantage of this perceived opportunity. Be careful - the water is full of sharks and poisonous jelly fishes.

It is most likely to be a ramper or someone from Valirx who reported it - any suggestion that the FCA are investigating this company or trades in its shares would not be positive for the share price, would it?

A de-ramper wanting a lower buy-in price would want that FCA message to stay, not be deleted.

The Irish and Scottish Nationalists will exploit Brexit for their own purposes (just as the ERG have been doing). In a decades time I would not be surprised if all that is left of the UK will be England and Wales. Might not be a bad thing as it will mean their is less mouths to feed out of London's economic power but it is hardly the promised land that the Brexiteers yearn for.
