The ending of the tax year can see some who invest in speculative shares tidy-up their investment accounts in preparation for the new year's allowances.

Equally, there will be some who have funds available to invest as soon as the new tax year starts as they do not want to miss the opportunities that they perceive. Some will try and trade the wave of optimism; some will watch the volumes bought and wonder why the volume happened and others will buy after seeing the volume without understanding why there has been so many shares traded.

Interpreting buy, sells and price movements on speculative AIM shares is an inexact science.

The key to me will be going concern statement by the auditors and how any possible negative comments by them are ameliorated by other statements within the accounts.

I have not been watching closely...

I did post a while ago about the Turquoise platform and how dark pools are not reflected on L2. The annual accounts due soon will provide more clarity on the funding situation and help those who are not emotionally involved to make logical investment decisions.

But the profit margins on proved assets will determine what the assets can be sold for. And, to date, they have not been that successful in proving up the assets that they have been involved in [hence the share over the last 6 months].

It is a bit like getting your product listed on Ocado - it brings it to many more eyes but until you see the sales figures [and the growth thereof] it is hard to evaluate the impact on 'the bottom line'.

Still good news though, even though all it has done is prompt 3 sells this morning.
