The Synairgen team have done quite a bit for shareholders, one should’nt forget

Secondly , these are scientific and academic people who cannot ramp up the results where the results are not great ... science is science , only the results count

Looking at the charts , we have support levels at 110 and 91 .....

If we don’t get a bounce on Tuesday we should be aware .....

What will happen to the SP In the short term is another question ....

There is only one P2 trial even though it has two distinct subgroups . THe clinical trial readout wlll show the combined results from the two subgroups
Hospitalized and at home patients ....

To get to market one has to PROVE efficacy and have a positive benefit risk ratio ....

If they can replicate the results from the hospitalized cohort in this P3 trial , they will get to the market , imo

That said , the market approval will be for a segment of the covid market ...

Sng. From the beginning have taken a hedged bet and like us all are learning more every day about covid ...
When they initially set up the protocol for the P2 they had to hedge their bets also with the information they had at that time ... so two very different subgroups were recruited for the P2
We got very satisfactory results from one group and disappointing results from the other so they have learnt a lot from this P2 ...
It’s easy for us to criticize the choices that were made , but they had no crystal ball at the time .

We now have a much clearer picture of the potential for SNG001 and if we can replicate the great results in the P3 trial well SYNAIRGEN will be a huge success even without being the magic bullet ...IMO

Regarding Sng ,

The home trial subset basically showed no statistical benefit over placebo ....

That said we have to put everything into it’s context ...

When synairgen started the P2 trial , they basically were hedging their bets by selecting two totally different subgroups for the P2 trial

They have had 1 success and 1 failure group ...

The combined P2 results will therefore be less successful but that’s not a problem really as they are now in P3 ...

If SNG001 can confirm the results in hospitalized patients well they will get approval from regulatory authorities and become a viable company or get taken over ....

Friday’s results will however quash hopes of many disillusioned shareholders who thought they had magic bullet against covid and were dreaming of £50 etc ....

Sng has a very strong PI backing since last year and sentiment has taken a beating but all is far from lost with sNG , far from it ...

I cannot see what was good about the home trial subset results ....

We were basically told that SNG001 could’nt prove any benefit to at home patients ...

After analysis of a subgroup within a subgroup we may have found a trend but then again the numbers are so small that they may not be significant....

We should know be focusing on our strengths which are in the hospital setting emergency rooms where the more severe cases are treated and if we can confirm this efficacy in the P3 trial well hospitals and governments will pay the money to try and keep people out of ICU , IMO

I am glad that you got a better entry point than I did ,
I have as most people here know many types of investments

LT for companies that I believe in and which I hold and will probably hold for many years ( convictions )
MT for companies that I think have great potential in the next 6-12 months

The punt selection which are very speculative and therefore are ´opportunistic ´ what I call my casino shots ...looking for a quick turnaround ( you win some and you lose some )

A lot of people were expecting another magic Monday and are deeply dissatisfied with Richard’s presentation as they blame him really for the Sp falling ....

I found that Richard was himself .... the scientific and factual man that he is ...No glossy ramping from him just the facts and figures ...

Hopefully , over the weekend we will be able to discuss with a cool head the implications of these results on SYNAIRGEN and where the company will progress from here on ..

We should see a bounce from here , imo

To be honest it was what I was expecting from the home trial and why SNG were delaying the results ..

The Friday RNS is usually not good news

Could very well test the support at 120p. .... a good buying point of it goes there , IMO
