I think we need a lesson on ´ positions sizing ‘
Frustration is an investors worst enemy , imo and frustration comes about when the Timing and the position size are not optimum ...
When one holds a large part of there portfolio in a share that is not moving , well that creates a lot of frustration and when that stock actually does move well people sell too early IMO ... as you said you will sell half ....
The lesson I have learnt ( after many frustrating moves ) is to keep smaller positions in many shares that I have well researched and when one does move ( technical confirmation and not a pump and dump ) I personally double UP my position and not half it ....
But everyone to their own trades and strategies as always ...
