@richardo, My wish is not to get into a slinging contest with you, as you are a genuine biotech investor...but all the same, why do you think IMM were in active discussions with pharmas "for years" ?

@richardo,...I can quote you back :-) We need a partner to move Lupuzor forward and we know IMM has been talking to larger Pharmas for years (Reference the Annual Reports).

@Richardo, I would prefer if you asked the company, how many "due diligence" were perfomed on them...

@Richardo, A lot of what you say would make sense, IF, IMM were not actively seeking a partner for the P3 , which they were. I have great respect for RZ, because he put his money where his mouth is... Anyway, only time will tell how things work out..but my views have not changed (however flawed they may be)

@Tomozulu Phase 3 trials in Lupus take 3-4 years and you should kow that even when the pharmas throw loads of money and resources into the trials, like Astra....but it's better to take a bit more time in the conception/recruitement stages of the trial to "optimize" the chances of success . I have no inside knowledge of the outcome of the competitors trials, just going by Lupus experts comments.. When you can't find faults in the logic, throw stones at the messenger is all most of you can do...

@Richardo Ask yourself why the "potential partners" in discussions for years, did'nt sign any deal with IMM ? Why were Imm left to GO it alone ? And why would they sign Now and not before ?

@Tomozulu I agree with Tim when he says Targeted therapy isthe future of medicine, i have said it many times on this BB...Lupus is a very complex disease, and i don't expect any "miracle drug" to work on all Lupus patients. Individual Targeted Therapy is therefore the way forward in my opinion... But where does that leave Lupuzor ? Back to the trials...so 3 -4 years to wait and to finance.in which time the competition might just get to the finish line well before them. Little pharma perspective ? Everyone to their opinion !

Tim is always very very confident, Great safety profile, and multi billions in the stars... Same as Fritz :-)

No, i don't have any holdings in Astra, but i do believe that they will succeed in their P3

We did discuss this but a-2-b did'nt seem to have realised that the Astra results are imminent ....

Astra has got the Fast track status as well....as well as all the other lupus trials...

a-2-b While you are talking about recruitment, you must be very dissapointed with the delay in recruitment..You had estimated recently that the study should be at the halfway stage by now ...at yet only 44 patients have been recruited so far and Tim is now "hoping" to finish recruiting in june/july for results in "early 2019"

a-2-b Astra, has their own product,, Anifrolumab, for which llupus experts expect positive P3 results to be annonced in the next few months.... Please tell me why they would consider a takeover for Lupuzor, which failed it's P3 ?
