@Nkotbuk, I agree that all the errors commited were not just down to lack of money ! When you compare the trials to Astra, it's not very fair as they have put in unlimited ressources, but i suggest that you look at the small French biotech and see how they have "optimised" their trial. Anyway, i hope the management will now be able to try again, with or without a partner !

Guys, Powering takes MONEY, and IMM wanted/did'nt have any choice but to go it alone for the P3.... They had'nt the ressources to do it any other way but "cheaply"...so hindsight is great but Where to Now ?

@Nkotbuk What needs a real explanation is the near 25 % drop out rate..... Down to pregnant women ?? :-))

One should keep an open mind on that question, mathsprof :-) The differences between SOC in "poorer countries" and "richer countries" might be a partial explanation for the trial failure, imo but i will leave that to the experts. Back to my reading glasses...

I am sorry to disagree, because the patients SOC is not changed because they entered the trial...They continue with their own prescribed medications that they were on before the trial...

i keep wondering why Mauritius patients were included in "Europe"... It would be instructive to have these patients results seperately, imo

@Richardo, My tinted glasses do give rise to too many slanted comments, i agree We will have to agree to disagree on the rest, but only time will tell about the outcome. Mea culpa, i should take off my shades more and just use my reading glasses and let others take the forefront like NKOTBUK etc (slightly tinted is better than pure ramping ) Best of luck to you
