Whatever the results, be they good, bad or indifferent, the credibilty of IMM has , imo , suffered once again...

Shareholders are entitled be told the full story as quickly as possible, be it good or bad, imv

When Tim says " Very strong cash position " at least two years and then gets the BOD to sanction a £2 million investment in another company where he is also the chairman on the basis of a " Heads of terms" ?

Less than a year later, IMM have to dilute shareholders and still no results from the extension trial after having to postpone the MAP program....

Where is the respect due to shareholders ?, i ask

Who is running this company ??

What are IMM trying to achieve by keeping the results to themselves until the last possible moment ??

In the biotech business it is usual for pharma to pay upfront payments and to pay for the clinical trials or a % of the cost of the clinical trials.

Leaks like dilution....

IMO, The sp is not due to the results but on the CASH position ...The monthly cashburn is still very high, and the money invested in INCANTHERA is now lacking.....

Don't you think that it was the lack of funds that was the real reason for the MAP postponement ??

Also, There is no difference between standard of care in clinical trials and "regulated " standard of care ...

All patients in the clinical trial had their "standard of care" medications on top of either lupuzor or placebo...

This morning's RNS was not totally unexpected as the cash situation was becoming precarious, imv

The results from the extension trial will be annonced shortly but the main question is not whether the results are good bad or indifferent but whether IMM can persuade a partner to sign up to bring lupuzor forward...

A partnership/licensing agrement iMPLIES upfront payments....Meaning CASH

So my point is that, IMM must not expect to sign any deal in the near future otherwise they would'nt need this rights issue ...

I can think of a few reasons, but i will leave it up to the BOD to give the answers..

The results of the extension trial should be annonced this week, probably before the AGM which is being held on thursday.

IMM have once again awaited the last minute to publish results...Q2 annonced and here we are athe very end of Q2...

oN CLINICAL TRIALS the study is indicated as "completed" since febuary 5 and the last update posted on april 11

I still believe that the P3 was under powered and most lupus trials now seem to have a minimum of 400 patients in them

Interesting point about the primary endpoint !

I also would like to see the FDA authorizing LLDAS as a primary endpoint for lupus trials but it does'nt seem on the cards at this moment in time..

The Chinese have recently allowed LLDAS to be a primary endpoint in a Lupus trial so that is a nhew devolopment on the scene...

Imm did a P3 trial " on the cheap" at a cost of £13 million and got a "cheap result" imv....a lot of time and ressources were wasted here imo

If Big pharma were watching IMM, they would have made a bid a long time ago, the reasons for the P3 FAILURE were obvious from the start...

No, only a small pharma would be left in discussions at this stage...The big guys have left long ago, imo

The contrarien side of the coin is that with diminishing funds, IMM have very little options to move forward....IMV

Time is running out...

They either sign a deal...(even a very bad one ) or they move on to another indication (outside lupus) to try and bring loupuzor to market (someday)

They have to find a solution quickly to fill the coffers ....(sale of incanthera stock) divestment of Ureka and Nucant ) etc

SO they will have to annonce some NEWS on these issues rapidly imv .....so the SP could move sharply in the near future if some news is forthcoming ...

Before the P3 Trial results, this board was full of people saying the same thing, " Partner just around the corner, 5 bagger easily" etc but here we are a year later , with a SP divided by at least 10 and the partner still "just around the corner" ...and the Cash has dwindled ....

We are far from the fairy tale that somecertain people are trying to sell us, imv

Th reality is that by reducing the scope of the trial,' a subgroup within a subgroup of the lupus population as a whole, one also reduces the possible "market" for the product if it actually suceeds a further P3 trial...

Discussions with "corporate partners " have been going on for years, but now IMM needs to find someone to fund a much more expensive trial for a potential smaller market ....

What will happen if nobody takes that risk ??
