Unlikely Garonne, I think you put all too much credit in the words written on these boards. 99% of investors see the petty name calling and just ignore the dribble. If anyone thinks anyone is paid to sit on here posting 5-6 messages a day I think that person wears a tinfoil hat. Some people have vested interest and comment accordingly but to my eyes only ADE is making up nonsense in the name of shorting the stock not raising it.
It genuinely feels to me like most of the negative crowd expect us to go from no sales to millions of units in a single day, the sale of units for the speedy joint venture is great. Better still would have been an outright sale as no doubt units are heavily discounted- but as it’s an evolving technology (power generators already exist after all) it takes time to slowly pull people away from the old ways, it also takes time to produce enough units to satisfy the needs of the business.
I get the whole being impatient thing as many have been waiting a long time, and many also failed to make a gain on the previous rises - but a turbulent SP for a new tech company- this isn’t a new thing at all.
I think if the share price didn’t rocket in late 2020 most of the negative crowd would be happier, it gave them a taste of what’s down the line but they believed it was here to stay. To me it was clearly temporary as the rise was based on very little that I know of, certainly not much standout news at the time that I recall other than a new facility and a partnership with the manufacturer who we had worked with for years. The main thing throwing the share up and down is the shareholders getting giddy, thinking a rise is due to a leak and then FOMO sets in, then depression when a 10million order isn’t announced overnight.
I think where we are at the moment is fine, we have great value in the IP, yes we have low value in sales as we are essentially just starting in that area. Most companies venturing into hydrogen are established commercial companies Siemens Bosch air products, BP. If you want higher MCAP and SP go with them. The reason to buy AFC is that it has potential for huge growth. but that only happens in the right way.
A false start instigated by AFC deploying full scale before the trials before the small scale rollout of rental units would be the end if the system failed at all, which is likely is production ramps up so fast QC is impacted.
We need lots more info before a full rollout will achieve a guaranteed long term result.
Most folks who are negative seem to just want the SP to rocket to sell up and move on, a CEO is not supposed to put short term payoff for shareholders above the long term future of the company- so to me Bond is doing the right thing here. I want the company to grow steadily and continuously for years to come.
