I do indeed recall and I also recall your TA, although you haven't kept your promise to revisit at £1.77. I believe we peaked at £1.78 :) You must let me know sometime where I can pick up some tips on using TA (not at all my forte) and I believe I'm correct in saying that you use Market Screener and Trading View. I remember you posted a link to the latter which showed a couple of 5 step inserts. Did you calculate those or were they part of the Trading View package ?
Wondergoals
Seres certainly put the LBT sector back into the positive spotlight, which was quite ironic as they were the ones to reverse it previously with the failure of the Phase 2 trial of SER 109, as mentioned in the article linked below. Whether they or 4D are the absolute market leaders in LBT's is a debatable point. I believe our overall package is stronger but it could be argued that Seres are closer to market, although again, as the article explains, they may still have some work to do to get FDA approval. However, as you correctly point out, the market clearly viewed the news as a big positive, for them and the sector in general.
It's best to keep one's feet on the ground and people should not forget that the eagerly awaited Blautix trial results are Phase 2 and if good, I would imagine the next step will be some kind of partnership (not necessarily Merck) to take the process forward. They might well go for expediated clearance, such is the good safety profile. The Phase 1 Blautix results, although across a small patient group, showed 82% of participants with an overall improvement in symptoms vs 50% in the placebo group, results slightly better than those of Seres 109, with the previously mentioned caveats.
If this is replicated in the eagerly anticipated results, it will be good news.
Where we are clearly ahead of Seres is in the oncology space and particulary with our ground breaking MRx0518 Part A trial results in combination with the Merck drug Keytruda. Recruiting for Part B of the trial commenced in June and if the earlier results are replicated in the larger study of over 100 patients, all eyes really will be on 4D Pharma. We have been promised updates before the year end and we can also expect an update for the MRx0518 Imperial College trial for solid tumours, sooner rather than later.
Add to the list MRx4DP0004 for Asthma and CV19, together with the developing therapies for neuro degenerative disorders and as I suggested earlier, we have very much the industry leading portfolio, all enabled of course by the jewel in the crown, the MicroRx platform, which has so far spawned over 1000 granted patents, with a further 1000 in the pipeline.
And of course there's the mooted Nasdaq listing, which will serve to bring the above story to the full attention of the USA market, which is so much more attuned to the potential of ground breaking Pharma companies.
