Hi Jim i think most gold and silver shares do follow spot prices to some extent. HOC was always a decent share but since the RNS in August it has not been so good but you will have to dyor and make up your own mind it is a good share to trade daily if you can get it right. The trouble is the powers that be keep crashing the PMs and you just don't know when they are going to do it. GL all.

Gold and silver just crashed down again and so has HOC NYMEX at it again.

Done same as yesterday up first thing and then down later, when this is going to break out of the 220 to 235 range i don't know. Moan over for Today GLall.

Had a sneaky feeling that these would start to go down this morning when they were up first thing, because most other PM shares were down. This is the 4th time i have held off selling when in profit just to watch it go back down into 220s mark. Wonder if other people in this share thinks the same as me that sometimes we never learn. Lets hope it changes this aft. GL all.

Very tempted to sell when they were 235 but did not, i will be kicking myself if they drop again tomorrow. I hope NYMEX don't start their silly games later today if they don't we could be in for a nice rise back to the 260-270 mark in the next few days. GL all.

The $ has been strong of late like you say Leeds we need the $ to drop and PMs to carry on going up GLall.

Back down again, just lost what it gained yesterday gold and silver crashing again. If this gets back up to 231-232 i will sell the powers that be keep crashing PMs.

Yes i am a bit like that i have a lot that i watch daily, i bought into bdev at 600 sold at 650 but they carried on going up and a great divi but kept watching HOC now stuck with this till it turns and it will turn when the $ goes down and they stop crashing PMs. GL with your investments.

Yes i have made quite a lot on this share in the past buying and selling, this time i bought a little to high at 231 but i could have sold at 235 but was out and did not put a limit price on them, then again yesterday was out put a limit price on at 235 but only got to 233 it will rise at some point but at the mo you need to be buying at around 222-223 and selling around 230. I have 20,000 of these so a 5p rise is 1k profit could have done this twice this week. I will sell if if it can get back to 233 or 234 and then wait for the drop again. GL all.

I thought these might have stopped losing and started to move up now that gold and silver is not losing as much. Lets hope come end of day it will have turned GL all.

Gold and silver price soon as PMs start to go down a bit so does HOC. I don't think this share is quite as good as it used to be it can't seem to break out like it used too. Been out of this for a bit bought in again last week at 231 after seeing results i thought it would start to rise back up to 270-280 mark but not doing so yet GL all.

Nige you must have bought TCM at a high price to have lost money on them, i looked at them when they dropped to £1 very nearly bought in but held off then they shot up to about 170 -180, i do that a lot always thinking they could go lower and then find out i have missed the boat. Held up well today. GL all.

I think they will drop back a little today but i think they they could rise slowly now in the next few weeks unless some bad news comes out. I think i will stick around for a bit see how it goes. GL all.

I was thinking that, nearly 3000 profit now. I know it is a very nice divi but they will drop on ex divi day by how much don't know. It's one big dilemma.

Like i said yesterday i thought they would rise this week with what May was proposing but i didn't think it would be so quick and so much all at once, they always tend to drop back later in day when such a big rise first thing.
